“Narrated by Ossie Davis, the documentary follows the lives of wealthy Black Americans from a variety of occupations - higher education, publishing, and politics - who discuss their lives within primarily white circles. Through imagery and interviews, the film contrasts their lives with those of working class Black people, some engaging in a discussion on the current state of Black affairs. " There's so much to unpack in this clip, and in the entire documentary. The brother speaking in this clip is Richard B. Moore - a Caribbean activist and businessman who allied himself with / advocated for socialism and black nationalism, and founded "The Frederick Douglass Book Center" in Harlem.
