Day 42/100 days of productivity!
Taken about three hours ago. I'm still making up for the hours I didn't study yesterday. (I was busy watching Kingdom on Netflix. Btw, it's great. I wasn't even into zombie shows but I was hooked.) And the day before yesterday. (No reason. Was just bored.)
Sunday is my rest day! So, I'm finishing up my studies tonight to enjoy tomorrow guilt-free. I also joined a readathon so I cannot not finish my workload today. So far, I'm in my 8th hour of studying and 3/4 cup of coffee. Don't stay tuned because I'm crashing right after my studies.
Day 55 of 100 days of productivity! I crushed it today. But of course, I still have to make up for the hours I didn't study yesterday so I'll be here for a while.
It's kind of sad and also relieving that last 5 days of official physical-distancing (because Myanmar only got its first confirmed case 5 days ago) did not feel any different to me.
I said relieving because before this week, I've been very stressed out from my study load. So knowing that I am functional and feeling well this week in spite of the quarantine gives me a sense of happiness.
Let me tell you, what I learned this month was that producitiviy doesn't mean shit if you're suffering emotionally/mentally/physically for it. If you're in quarantine and you're feeling not productive enough, I advise you to say "Fuck that" and do what makes you happy. I know that hearing this from someone who's doing 100 days of productiviy thing is weird. But we're not machines. We can get stressed out and in this time, rightfully so. So you have to give yourself permission to relax. It's okay if you come out of this whole thing as the same person you went into.
