Walking out of the front door, you were met with a quite different sight. Hobin and Snapper were standing in front of your door. A bouquet of roses was pushed into your face. ‘From master Seong!’ Hobin said quite loudly, keeping his head down, probably by Taehoon’s order. ‘He’s refusing the teach Hobin taekwondo and ordered us to give you this!’ Snapper added, the camera of his phone pointing towards you. The viewers must love the drama, wouldn’t they? Most of them would either be watching the drama unfold or get angry at you for even being Taehoon’s girlfriend to begin with. Half of the people didn’t even think Taehoon would even have a girlfriend considering his personality. You took the bouquet of roses from Hobin’s hands and told them they can just stand up, which they did. Both snapper and Hobin looked rather nervous as you had always been kind to them yet now you were rather more…disappointed? Your expression made the two boys look at each other in half confusion and half worry. Taehoon hadn’t told them anything about the sudden reason you weren’t with him at the dojo. Even the viewers in the live were trying to figure it out. The bouquet of flowers were hanging loosely in yours hand, it took him a week to actually reach out and it wasn’t even himself.
In the bouquet of roses you found a card, it was light pink with a bear holding a heart that said ‘i love you’ on it. It was rather cute, but it really wasn’t something Taehoon would do. Opening the card, it was rather empty with also only three words in it. ‘I’m sorry, loser.’ You stared at the card with a blank face. Loser. He used to call you that back in the day when you were still getting bullied by him. Although his words never got to you, the reminder that he used such a word to insult you didn’t sit right with you at all. It makes you something out to be that you’re not. You’re not a loser. Not anymore. Maybe back then, but you have worked hard on yourself, both mentally and physically. He was there to witness it himself. So why would he call you that knowing that’s you disliked it? It made you angry, very angry. To the point both Hobin and Snapper already heard your teeth grating against each other and your face twisted in a sight they’d rather not see on you. Your voice was dangerous. Too dangerous that made the two boys shiver. ‘You two. Walk.’ ‘Yes ma’am!’ Both of them peeped at the same time. Hell maybe both you and Taehoon were scary.
Taehoon was practicing some of his kicks in the dojo. He felt somewhat down for not seeing you today. Normally you had lessons from him and he would always go to your place to pick you up, maybe fool around by going shopping and making photos together, after that the two of you would finally make it to the dojo and start practicing. It was only a week. yet he missed you more than he’d like to admit…it also made him very frustrated but at least he could use his kicks to vent his frustration. He’s not one to feel emotional and would rather vent it in his own destructive way. Something Hansu has noticed about his son, especially today. It made him wonder what Taehoon did this time to have him so riled up. Soon he found himself bickering to his son about his recent behavior and a rather irritated Taehoon insisting that there wasn’t anything wrong with him and that he just wanted to practice his kicks.
Mid sentence Taehoon felt something hit his face. It was soft, but the throw made it hurt more than he expected. Both Hansu and Taehoon looked at the door of the dojo to find you totally stone cold, Snapper and Hobin hiding behind your form. They have never seen someone’s be so silent yet raging at the same time, although Snapper was still streaming the whole thing which was apparently doing very good by the amount of donations. ‘What the hell?’ Taehoon asked, picking up the flowers off the dojo’s floor and holding one hand to his cheek. He didn’t seem to get your outburst at all. He sent you the roses to make you happy. Not to have you be even more mad than before. ‘If you’re going to apologize. Try to be at least civil. And do it yourself instead of sending someone, dumbass.’ Everyone including Taehoon was absolutely floored. They had not expected you to have a sharp tongue, even call THE TAEHOON a ‘dumbass.’ ‘What’s this all about?’ Taehoon walked over to you, which caused the duo behind your back to even shrink in more behind you. ‘You know how I feel. Tried to be funny or what?’ You asked him with narrowed eyes, not backing down even now that he was towering over you. There was nothing to be afraid of. Nothing at all. Taehoon realized what you were talking about and placed a hand on the back of his neck, scoffing a little before taking one of your hands and leading you out the dojo. Leaving Snapper, Hobin and Hansu rather confused by themselves.

Outside, Taehoon leaned against the building of the dojo. He was wearing a pair of slippers, his taekwondo pants and just a tank top. He was kind of sweaty from all the practicing but that did not stop him from looking at you with a scowl. ‘Apologize.’ Your stern voice made him narrow his eyes even more. You never spoke to him that way. And in all honesty, he doesn’t appreciate it. ‘For what?’ He snapped back. It was a joke. Why couldn’t you get that? It’s not like he meant it anyways! You pulled the card in front of his face. The 3 words staring back at Taehoon. He read it over and over again. In his head he tried to justify himself. It’s just a joke. You’re being sensitive. You’re just overreacting. He wanted to make it up to you, you know? His head felt like an endless tunnel of excuses that weren’t even justified. He didn’t know what to say. The silence between the two of you was rather harsh, the card still almost pressed in his face, taking up all his vision. ‘You know how I feel. So why?’ He didn’t expect your voice to sound so full of emotion. He didn’t expect you to be so sad because of a stupid, very stupid, joke he made. He felt guilty. He wanted to mess with you a little. Little bit of teasing. He knows he’s a jerk. ‘I’m sorry.’ ‘Sorry isn’t going to always cut it you know?’ You didn’t mean to let your emotions take over once again. It was stupid. So stupid..to be on the verge of tears from what? 3 words that didn’t even hold any meaning if it was someone else? Taehoon took the card from out your hand and hugged you, his arms wrapping around you with one pressing your head against his chest. A few soft ‘i know’-s came out of his mouth. They were genuine and soft. He didn’t mean to make you cry. You stared at the black fabric on his chest. He bullied you a lot when you first met him. He called you all sorts of names. But why was the word ‘loser’ so important? Because it was true at the time. You were a loser. But it was who you were. It made you, you. It made you happy. Even though you have now matured and also follow taekwondo from Taehoon himself. You were still a loser by society standards. You like things most would seem as geeky. Yeah. It’s true. But what did it matter? Everyone has something to say. So why not be happy while they say shit rather than being miserable and caring about what they say?…is what you always have told yourself. It’s true. It helped. But hearing or seeing the word from someone who told you he loved you was rather hurtful. Especially since he promised to never say it again when he first kissed you.
You don’t know when the waterworks started. It just happend. ‘You promised.’ Is all you could mutter to him. From those big, loud and long thought those were the only words you told him. And it didn’t went smoothly either. Taehoon bit his lip. He didn’t mean to make you cry. He didn’t mean to hurt you so bad. Not after he promised you to be better. To trust him. His hand softly rubbing your back as you cried against his chest. His chin resting on your head, softly shushing you in a comforting manner. The guilt was gnawing at him. ‘I’m sorry. I’m so so sorry.’ He told you softly, trying to wipe away your tears. The redness in your eyes made him feel so incredibly nervous and guilty. He was your boyfriend. He was supposed to protect you not hurt you. His fingers rubbing against your cheek, his forehead pressed against yours. ‘Forgive me.’ He never said those words. Not even after he stopped the bullying. He knows he’s an ass. He knows it. He knows he’s at fault. He knows that all his misfortunes in life is because of him. So please, let him make it right to you. He can’t lose you too after Dowoon. He’ll protect you at all costs. He promises. His hands once again reached your side, this time you hugged him back. He can’t help but feel so relieved after you did that. He takes a few breathes and just stares at the sky for a moment before kissing your temple. ‘I forgive you.’
Thank yall for reading😋🥶🔥💯
