((Question, do I tell my parents, "Hey, while you're at it, can you get me Astrid tea in addition to Toothless" or just buy it myself.))
okay, I just want to buy ALL of those httyd teas... but I have to make some choices. any recommendations?
Okay, of the HtTYD teas:
Going by sales alone, Toothless is the most popular tea by the long shot. Toothless is very good, but also very sweet. This is one of the few teas where I don't always have to sweeten it because the blackberry and caramel make it so sweet. But it's super good!
Hiccup and Viking Prince are both really great teas if you're a fan of coffee. The hazelnut in Hiccup gives it a coffee-like, and the mocha nut mate in Viking Prince is a very strong tea that gives it a heavier body like coffee. Both have a sweet-ish (though not overstated) chocolate taste, too. They are pretty similar, though Viking Prince is stronger than Hiccup.
Valka is a good tea if you like herbal teas. It's my favorite for relaxing in the afternoon. I've never had it iced, but I think it would be good cold as well as hot.
Now, we get to my personal favorite, and yes, I'm a bit biased: Stoick is really good. It's warm and toasty with the chestnut, and the cinnamon gives it a nice spicy kick, too. It screams autumn and winter and warm and fireplace. A great warm-you-up tea and also good for relaxing.
All of the others... I have to be honest, I've never tried them. Unfortunately, I don't have a whole sampler kit to mix and try all the blends in the fandom. I've used my own understanding of the different kinds of tea and a good deal of advice and taste-testing help from my friend Amyzen for the original 9 blends. If you want to know more about a specific tea, click on the name and adagio will give you a short description of the tea. Or, google it!
The only real warning I will give is for the newest blend, Alpha: Lapsang souchong is incredibly strong. It's extremely smokey and extremely powerful. That's why I only made it 20%. (I'm actually wondering if I ought to bump it down to 10%...) - it overpowers other flavors pretty easily. That being said, it can be really good, mixed and brewed correctly. Paired with sweeter blackberry and vanilla, my hope is that it will balance out to a strong, complicated flavor.

How does the Toothless tea taste? :)
Awesome. I'm still perfecting how to make it, since I'm still pretty new to tea drinking, but so far the suggestion to add milk and honey has proven delicious. :9
