Wee thing i started kinda before i started workin on commissions and chipped away at.

The druidess Bodhmall and her “””associate””” Liath Luachra from the Boyhood Deeds of Fionn Mac Cumhaill (they’re all from Irish Mythology and they raise Fionn).

My gay ass pronounces them Wife and Wife. u_u i might do more with them in the future art-wise and i’ll for sure try to draw Fionn..

These guys are my secret weapons. First up is a new character from the FIONN graphic novel, Liath Luachra (“Lee-ath Loo-CH-ra”), one of Fionn’s foster-mothers. She’s a highly skilled warrior and hunter and she lives (and hunts) in the forests of the Slieve Bloom / Sliabh Bladhma mountains in the midlands of Ireland. She teaches Fionn how to hunt and fight.

Her partner is Bodhmall (“bo-mall”). Druid, Fionn Mac Cumhaill’s other foster mother. This Mumsy, caricature, earth mother pagan flower-girl look didn’t last, it only came about because I was playing off opposing harsh and frilly appearances for her and her partner. It took quite a lot of willpower to not throw out the Fionn GN story altogether & do one about just Bodhmall herself... She studies as a Druid, becomes one, leaves or is pushed out, falls in love with a warrior woman and then steps up to look after her missing sister’s son while in hiding from the powers that be. She’s quite a lady.
