Beautiful Chinese Music - Qin's Moon (Moonlight)

From a Chinese 3D animation titled Qin's Moon, the title theme known as "Moonlight", performed on the Chinese Zither. "Qin" is widely known as the dynasty name of the first Emperor of China around 200 B.C. This period was the first time in history China became unified under one Emperor named Qin Shi Huang, who set in motion the Middle Kingdom's unified culture and technological advancements despite a relatively short-lived dynastic era. Today, much of her culture often differs heavily between the north and the south.

胡彦斌 - "在一起" MV Hu YanBin (Anson Hu) - "Be Together" MV I really like the song, and this MV is seriously cute. Matchmaker angel YanBin is adorable, but at first I thought there was going to be something that I found awkward about the MV, but then I watched all the way to the end and it was adorable, so very adorable.

胡彦斌 - "笔墨登场" MV Hu YanBin (Anson Hu) - "Beginnings of Pen and Ink" MV ((That is a rough translation of the title. I'm working on my Chinese.)) Hu YanBin is the other vocalist that I came away from watching Celebrity Battle really enamored with. I really like this MV and song.

I really don't know why or how, but Anson Hu always hits the perfect spot for me. His voice isn't ideal for male singers in that it isn't deep and soulful, but it manages to sway and swoon beautifully around his instrumentals. Although I would prefer if the instrumentals would sometimes be muted a little more (as I often find to be overwhelming with most popular Chinese music) and his voice a little more magnified by a microphone with better audio clarity/quality. 

Overall however, this song has taken me off my feet again. I'm an easy sucker for strings and crescendos. His emoting is always impressive in the way it carries across his message across the song. I sometimes find the end to his songs a little awkward, in that they seem to end without a proper conclusion, but recently, it seems to appeal more than usual. Probably because I'm often the type to skip the ending credits of a song after completing the chorus. 

Either way, I'm the personality type who can only seem to appreciate ballads and coffee house music. Anson Hu = perfect answer.
