In a few days 2016 will be half over. To be honest I got a bit depressed, 6 months gone, and in that time what have I done? So I decided to reflect. I applied to 6 different graduate programs and got accepted to 4 out of 6. Had to choose between Divinity and Law School, I chose Divinity #YaleDiv19 I led a phenomenal group of my peers to Flint, MI to assist in addressing the water crisis and heal the wounds of a long suffering community #HUASB I graduated from Howard University, Magna Cum Laude after finishing my last semester with a 4.0 and a cumulative GPA of 3.61 #HowardU16 I secured a summer internship serving the greatest summer literacy programs in the nation! #FreedomSchool I mentored, I loved, I laughed, I was challenged, and I overcame. If this was 6 months, then I'm bracing myself for what is to come. I'm starting to believe E. Dewey Smith when he says #2016WillBeLegendary
