A fond smile came to the Herald's lips as he walked up to Huck from behind. His steps were light, barely making a sound on the soft grass.
Huck was just like him, dedicated to his work for the commune to a fault.
"Maybe we both can do with a break." He looked to Fionne, bowing his head in greeting. "Walk with me, Huck."

"Good morning, my Herald."
Huck kept a distance from him, hands politely behind his back. Appropriate. Respectful.
"I wanted to see how you are doing. I... We're concerned about your well-being. Ribekah's healing scared a lot of us. You've been working very hard to make this place one where we all thrive, but... you're spreading yourself thin. You say you have to keep going, but, it's important to us that we take care of you back."
Huck looked down, half hoping the Herald won't hear.
"And... With all respect. I think you're being a bit stubborn."

The Herald looked over his shoulder to Huck, the ever present stoic expression blooming into a small smile. Humor and something else sparkled in his eyes.
Once upon a time in the din of turning pages and chalk against black boards, a voice was always by his side challenging him. Pushing him.
Viktor turned to face him proper.
"Stubborn..." He said as if he tasted the word for the first time. His eyes shimmerd in the sunlight. "Not the first nor last time I will be called as such."

Healing others has been taking a toll on the Herald's body. There is no greater honor than to help him.
Huck gets the great honor of helping the Herald bathe, witnessing the beauty of their Herald up close. Non-sexual body worship. An exercise in attempting to write a painting.
