Last night, I had a dream that elmify and I were best friends and we were having a Harry Potter movie marathon… it was totally awesome.

1. My boobs are pretty great.

2. I have really small hands.

3. I have an 8 GPA right now.

Positiveity Challenge

One of my wonderful followers has asked me to publicly post about 5 things I like about myself and then pass the challenge on to some of my own followers. If it weren't midterm season and I didn't have a Chemistry exam tomorrow to study for I would have liked to have made a creative photo-set to show my 5 choices... as it is I have studying to do so a word post will have to do for now, maybe I can make my photo-set over reading week.

So, 5 things I like about myself

I'm empathetic. When someone else is hurting I feel for them and want to do what I can to help them. When someone is happy and excited I can feel their happiness and excitement. I hope my empathy shows through and lets people know that I'm happy to listen and share, whether it's happiness or not.

I'm loyal. There's my Hufflepuff showing through. But its true, there's not much I won't do for my friends and family and I'm happy to stick by them through thick and thin.

I have perseverance. This trait is even more clear and valued to me after my roller-coaster first few years of university. Despite the ups and downs (sometimes some pretty deep downs) I've made it through and I'm happily chugging along. Not everyday is sunshine and rainbows (it's midterm season remember) but I've made it through the storm.

I'm a perpetual volunteer. And I love it. I work with a Sparks unit, I'm on the executive of Free the Children and the Harry Potter Alliance at school, I've traveled to India on a volunteer trip, I copy my notes for Students Accessibility Services... I love that helping others helps me feel good.

I'm outdoorsy. Not everyone has an appreciation of the outdoors and all the great opportunities that it gives us but I was raised on summers spent camping and being outside. And now I still spend my summers doing as much of that as possible. My dad and I take a backwoods canoe trip every year and last year and again this year I'll be working at a campground (Gordon's Park Eco Resort- Google it, it's awesome!) living the camping life every day.
