Both! A long day on La Huerta though could mean a long day of almost dying, so after any conflict, they take a second to catch their breaths then instantly look for each other. Once they see one another they just run up and wrap their arms around each other in relief. Jake in particular likes to lift Taylor up then pepper kisses all over their face, then holding their face in both his hands asks, “You okay, Princess/Boy Scout?”
On quieter days? They’ll crawl to one another in the tent and just nuzzle up in each other’s arms without a word and fall asleep with little smiles on their faces. <3
Who hugs the other person from behind when they cook?
Jake!! Boy doesn’t care who sees. Y’all got some downtime and Taylor’s looking good sitting quietly by the fire cooking so he takes advantage of some much needed cuddle time.
Who picks the other up when they are hugging them?
LOL already answered but JAKE! Usually whenever he gets too into the hug like he’s way too happy or way too relieved after some incident and he can’t help but lift Taylor up a bit.

Both. Their PDA makes Aleister and Zahra wretch and they love it. Sometimes they’ll do it just for that annoying effect.

Jake!! It’s canon in Book 2′s New Year chapter. He likes to have Taylor lie on his shoulder with his one arm wrapped around them. Taylor wraps their arms around his chest in return. Sometimes also a leg around the waist for that extra closeness loool.

Answering both these questions cause they’re kind of similar anyway? BOTH! They adore each other so much they tend to hug tightly or roughly a lot. Usually when they’re being silly and just want to squeeze the other person, or yet another “YOU’RE SAFE AND ALIVE” hug.

Usually. Like I said they tend to hug after the crazy events. So there’s a lot of racing hearts.
But yeah, hearts race during the quieter times, too. Usually Jake. There are just times on quiet nights holding Taylor that he starts thinking about how lucky he is to be with them even though everything else in their lives was crazy and it makes his heart soar.

Taylor! They get way too excited sometimes. Can you blame them look at Jake omfg. Jake gets caught off guard for a bit but then usually laughs at how they knocked him over. Then he rolls Taylor over so he’s on top and there’s either kissing or tickling. XD

Neither. When Taylor needs a hug, Jake knows instantly and just hugs them <3 When Jake wants one, he just goes for it too. The man is touchy and it’s WONDERFUL.

Taylor does it in quiet moments especially when they’re cuddling before bed. Jake likes to kiss Taylor’s neck and cheek more than the forehead when hugging.

Taylor deals with A LOT what with leading the gang and La Huerta trying to kill them and also their weird fckn powers??? They love being in Jake’s arms because it’s one of the few, if not the only place they feel safe, at peace, and normal.
Jake loves being in Taylor’s because it also gives him peace. He feels grateful and happy that in a life where it seems like he keeps losing things and people, that he found Taylor.

You mean besides the dirt and sweat while trekking all over La Huerta?? LOL
Idk why but Taylor’s natural scent has a hint of fruits and flowers on it. Similar to the ones found on the island. Jake wonders how they find product to make themselves smell that way but nope it’s just how Taylor is and when Jake learns that it’s a bit of a turn on. Of course he loves the smell!
Jake used to smell like a garage especially when Delilah was still around. He worked on that plane so often that the grease and oil and smell of the metal would stick to his clothes. After though, that smell disappeared and Taylor can smell Jake’s natural scent more. It’s subtle, earthy. Not exactly like the earth after it rains, but close. Taylor likes this smell better XD
When they hug, who snuggles their nose against their partners neck?
Jake. He savors every moment that he gets to hug Taylor and he frckn loves the way they smell. He nuzzles their neck every time in an effort to commit to memory the way that Taylor smells and how it feels to hold them close.

Riley! She’s almost always high energy and those long days are the days when she or LIam usually have a lot of King and Queen stuff to take care of, so they don’t get to see each other for the whole day or longer. Riley literally drops everything the moment she sees Liam and hugs him.
Who hugs the other person from behind when they cook?
Liam. Usually they have people to cook for them, but Riley cooks now and then when she feels like having something simple and familiar from back home. Liam likes snuggling up behind her and kissing his way along her shoulder while she cooks.
Who picks the other up when they are hugging them?
Liam. Their hugs can get very enthusiastic. Usually happens when Riley runs up to hug him. He responds with a very excited lift <3

Riley. But more of a hands around his waist thing. Or around his shoulders when they’re sitting and she leans on his shoulder while they talk with their friends.

Both. I picture them as snuggly sleepers. So they face each other and just have their arms around each other. Riley’s head rests just under Liam’s chin. And throughout the night they sleepily and absent-mindedly kiss the other on the chest or the forehead and pull each other closer.

Riley. Usually when Liam’s been gone for a few days for some King only business. Or when she’s very excited. Some light slapping his shoulder/punching involved as she giggles, too.

Yes, especially in the beginning. Every hug and kiss was a thrill during the courting season since they had many moments apart and so little time together. Each moment together was a rush for the other. Liam more so than Riley. He often surprises himself how she has such a great effect on him.

Riley loves being in Liam’s arms because he’s such a good hugger. Like he’ll hold you in a way that makes you feel loved and safe and relaxed. His arms are wrapped around you as he hums a little bit and his hand is lazily stroking circles on your hip.
Liam loves being in Riley’s arms cause it gives him a high. He’s never been in love before. The sensation of being in the arms of the first woman he’s ever loved and loved this much intoxicates him.

I imagine Liam smells goood. Like, he has all that fancy palace product that’s made from exotic flowers and fruits or something :)) But it’s not the overpowering kind. It smells almost natural and Riley loves it.
Idk why but I thought of cinnamon or lilac for Riley. Sweet or flowery. Of course Liam loves it, Liam loves everything about her.

Both. Almost every hug is snuggly. They love having their arms tangle in each other and snuggling against the other’s nose or hair or chest. They don’t pass on the chance to take in one another, especially when hugging.

Both. They don’t really run, but they kind of just crawl into bed together or on the couch and tangle themselves in each other and fall asleep. Hero work is hard, but those post-battle cuddle naps are THE BEST.

Both! Kenji just loves touching Alex in general and takes every opportunity to wrap himself around them. Alex on the other hand loves hugging Kenji ESPECIALLY while he cooks, cause it’s just so sexy??? They like to hug him and watch him cook. They both also like teasing each other with neck and shoulder kisses while the other cooks. ;)

Alex loool. What? They’re super strong and she gets excited sometimes. Kenji always lets out a little yelp of surprise then laughs a lot and Alex thinks it’s the cutest shit in the world.

Kenji. Usually it’s an arm around the shoulder or waist though. The man is touchy and he doesn’t care who’s watching ok. Alex does it, too, but gets full frontal huggy especially when they’re drunk and dancing at The Grand.

Idk why but I picture Kenji and Alex as the type of ship who’s just equally touchy and tends to take turns a lot with affection. So BOTH. Kenji likes to rest his head just below Alex’s chest, usually with a small pillow so he’s not pressing on their stomach, the wraps his arms around their waist. Also wraps a leg over Alex’s. Alex on the other hand has their arm draped over Kenji’s shoulder and head in return.
Other times, Alex is the big spoon and they wrap their arms around Kenji’s waist while they bury their face near the back of his neck. 90% of the time Alex kisses him there, and more often than not they don’t end up sleeping after that.

For jokes and fun, they both do. They just have a lot of fun with their hero strength and sometimes their cuddle sessions and hugs get very silly and it’s suddenly a wrestling match or flying around or lifting each other up.

Kenji. We’ve all seen the soft Kenji that lurks underneath flirty Kenji and he is WONDERFUL. He often kisses Alex on the forehead while hugging whenever he wants to reassure them and make them feel better, or when they have a sweet moment. Sometimes though, he does it just for himself. He indulges in the fact that he gets to kiss Alex like that all the time, anytime.

Alex feels that it’s the most relaxing place in the world. Kenji does such a great job of taking their mind off of all the stress of being a hero and life in general. Alex also loves it because it’s a daily reminder that this man doesn’t care where they came from or what they are, and stayed with them.
Kenji finds being in Alex’s arms reassuring. Under all the bravado is a guy who wants to impress and do right by everyone he loves. Alex is his rock, the one who inspires him to be better, the one who always believes in him, and he feels so damn lucky to be the one they hold in their arms.

Kenji usually has some cologne on. But it’s a subtle smell that Alex loves. There are times though when Kenji smells more like a workshop especially when he’s been out fixing his bike or on the road. Then there are those times when he smells like the club with smoke and alcohol on his jacket.
Alex smells sweet. They have some fragrant shampoo and Kenji loves sticking his nose in their hair because of it. They also wear some perfume now and then, especially on dates with Kenji :D

Kenji. The man has a neck fetish. Ok Alex does it too, but because Kenji has a very sensitive neck. And there are different versions depending on their mood. Sometimes it’s the teasing flirty kind, where they go in for a hug, but end up slowly kissing their way down the other’s neck and chest. And sometimes it’s just the kind where they want to feel each other because the scent of the other one and the feel of their skin against theirs is the most comforting thing ever.
