So Ozpin is the “youngest Headmaster to run Beacon Academy” or whatever bla bla blegh

But Beacon Academy is only 80-ish years old?

How many Headmasters did Beacon Academy have within the span of 80 years, where it’s notable that a relatively young dude took responsibility for it? Were the other Headmasters just REALLY OLD and kept dying a few years into the job?

Or was Ozpin’s age SO shockingly young that everyone was just like “holy shit” and now it’s just common knowledge that yeah, that Ozpin guy was super young and stuff when he became Headmaster.

So until I’m proven otherwise, my head cannon is that either:

1.) when some 20-30 year old showed up, everyone was like THANK GOD we were SO sick of all those old dudes” and his age became pretty well known simply because he was the first Headmaster to not be pushing like... 85 or something

Or 2.) Ozpin was just like Oscar walking up to Qrow in that bar. He was just some 14-year-old with the voice of some other cursed individual stuck inside of his head. A 14-year-old who asked for some cane back all confused. And whoever was there waiting for him went “Ah. There you are. Here’s your cane. And here’s your mug. Also, you’re in charge now. Have fun.” 

And Ozpin was like “Sweet” and started launching people off of cliffsides because giving a 14 year old that much power is of course going to immediately cause chaos

It could also be some combination of these two theories tho *shrug*

The kiss comes suddenly and leaves her quite shocked at first. She looked up at the male, cheeks flushed a bright pink color as she gently grips his shirt. He couldn’t just do this without warning her! Her small heart couldn’t handle it, it was embarrassing, but not hated at all.

Once he pulled away, her stupidfy gaze never once left the demon in front of her. She fumbled around her mind for what to say in response, but settled on something simple. Making an attempt to say anything was quite impossible given how quickly her heart pounded against her chest.
