so far I don't think Yuki's treatment (pink hair with hat) has really been bad at all. Like shes not really played off that much as being the crazy one, and she is delusional, yeah, because she is under such shock from whats happened, but if anything, she's not played off as a useless character, or that she's gonna "go insane and be a danger to everyone". In fact, she does a lot for the group to keep them together. 1/2
As for her friends I think they deal with her okay, albeit a bit patronizing, because there’s not much they can do other than keep her alive since there’s not much they can really do for her. I mean, I do understand because on the one hand, they use Yuki’s delusional state as the attention grabber and this is kind of gross, and it’s misleading because that’s not really supposed to be capitalizing on her PTSD. Otherwise, so far I haven’t really seen anything else bad with the show yet 2/2
thanks for the analysis, im probably gonna try the manga first
but yeah i have a lot of friends who deal with PTSD and trauma and stuff so seeing a show like this was a little uh…uncomfortable i guess but i’m still sort of interested simply because of the presentation and i feel bad but idk
