any headcanons/theories about mal's dad?

Uhh, how about some Human!Dad headcanons for Mal?

For the longest time, Mal didn't even know she had a father. Most of the other kids only had one parent as well, so she just figured that it was a roll of the dice if you had a mother or a father.

Absolutely flabbeergasted when she discovered that her mother had been with a mortal man, whom she has always criticized and spoke poorly about since she was born.

Over her entire life, Mal could count on one hand how many times Maleficent has even mentioned her father. Even then, Malelficent usually, if not always, referred to Mal's human side as her "other" side, as if the mere word "human" left a gritty taste in her mouth.

Maleficen's reasoning for why she chose a mere human was that she didn't want her powers that her future child was to inherit to be tainted. (Magic is a wild, unpredictable beast. If Maleficent had decided to be with another creature instead with their own set of magic running through their veins, who knows what could happen? Maleficent simply chose to not take the risk.)

♂ for human dad, regarding how he viewed his (ex)wife's child with an elven man. Did he approve of the union? Did he mistreat her because of her blood?
