Midterms are over!!!! Used the netter app to study for the pratical part of the anatomy test. Haven’t got the results yet but I think I did fine!

Fallopian Tubes

-- also called oviducts

-- feather-like projections

-- ovulation = release of the egg

-- after ovulation, the egg enters one of the Fallopian tubes

-- the egg only lives 6 to 24 hours

-- this is where fertilization occurs

-- the egg cannot move so it relies on cilia that line the ducts to cause a current, along with muscle contraction

-- this leads to cramps at time of ovulation
