Hammer rang against metal and the fire sprite shifted in its place on the hot coals of the furnace. His siblings all stood with him, their eyes focused on the weapon as the human shaped it before them. The fate of both Human and Sprite Kind lay in the forging of this blade. 

When the human returned the metal to the furnace, the fire sprites wrapped themselves around it, whispering their words of forging and of binding and of strength into its surface. This was their one shot to end the great evil against them. Human and Sprite bound together.
