Okay, I love Keith and I love how he look, but I can't help questioning why he looks so human. It's hard to believe that Human genes are so strong that it shows no traces of the Galra ones.

I know we got the Galra eyes and fangs (for about a second or two) during the Black Paladins episode and I'm really happy we got that, but it would feel really great if he had something permanently in his appearance that pointed to his Galra heritage.

I get that they didn't show anything at the beginning of the show, since they probably wanted the surprise effect (although most had already figured it out though lol), but they could have done so much with this after it got known. They could even have used "Keith getting more Galra appearance" as the Galra reveal, it would have put everyone on way more of an edge (and Hunk would probably say one of the coments he did in season 2 only to realize that "oh... OH! Oh no, this became awkward now!") And they could have used that to show discomfort with allies accepting that Voltron has a Galra Paladin. It could have brought a lot more complicated feelings for Allura and Coran (perhaps Shiro as well).

When I heard that one of the characters would get a hair change I was kind of hopeful toward it being Keith since I thought it could have to do with him being Galra (and that was their original design idea for him), but it was used on Shiro instead (white haired Shiro instead of original white haired Keith...) and I LOVE Shiro, but darn it..

I actually agreed with the "part Altean" theory (and made a meta about it myself) when it came to his appearance being fully human since his hand got purple in the same episode Allura explained about the Alteans ability to change their appearance. I thought that one of his parents might have been part Galra - part Altean while the other was human and that was the reason he looked more Human. That perhaps he copied the features of his dad when he was a kid. Or maybe that something was used to hide his Galra form to protect him on Earth, but after Keith met Krolia and they spent 2 years together without it being mentioned all of that got smashed too.

I wish we could see more of Keith's Galra appearance and have it stay that way, just Galra marks like his mom's would make me happy, really. Or at least have it explained why he doesn't look at all like a Galra.

(PLEASE don't bring hate or too much discourse here, I am simply stating thoughts I have that I hope someone might want to discuss. I still love the show and the characters and I respect and admire the creators and cast of the show.)
