I think the reason I always confuse being excited about a new friend and having a crush on someone is a mixture of being on the aroace spectrum as well as the autism spectrum, I fear I will never be able to fully tell the difference perhaps?

I was watching a deer and her baby outside my house. I then heard my tea was ready. I then suddenly remembered I was an animal.

Suddenly I'm in a cave with my pack and 2 wolves we managed to befriend. An ancestor of mine discovered fire 3 or 4 generations ago so we are nice and warm. I'm eating a peace of mamoth while a pack member feed the bone marrow to the young.

Then I'm back in my kitchen. I'm startled by the unnatural walls and strange temperature. I then go and make my tea.

I forgot I was an animal again.

I look around sometimes and wonder how I made it this far into life. Then remember, I’ve purposely forgotten, that wondering that, is a task for tomorrow.

Humans need to categorize things fascinate me. Like, taxonomy doesn't really exist. Its something humans created to feel more comfortable. And keep in mind I love taxonomy and find it fascinating!!! But it doesn't change that humans made it up. The complexities of the relationships of other animals all throughout their development and evolution is messy and cant possible be fully understood with the restraints we place on it! And I love it. I love that human urge to categorize and understand. Now to be fair it can also be used to other things that we dont understand, but at it's best it helps us try to understand things more. How cool is that!!!
