You know, as a kid I used to have a mental model of how bodies worked that included a complicated chain and pulley system with buckets that would slowly filter things downwards. To be fair I wasn’t too far off for guessing at 8 years old.
Now I know a lot more biology and I must to stay alive, but now I know I am made of clockwork and magic once again. I’ve always been a doll apparently 😸

I am 99% sure my cat was in some way like humankin or something.
He would open doors, he would listen intently when I talked to him, he would portion his eating throughout the day, he preferred human beds over his multitude of unused cat beds. Hell, he probably would have walked on two legs if he had figured out how.
