ik youve heard this a million times but this blog is genuinely a reason im still alive. I have to fucking outlive him (or at least his term). Like. He will NOT get the satisfaction of seeing us dead.

I promise hearing it again and again does NOT get old and in fact reminds me why I’m doing this. We HAVE to stay alive and we HAVE to outlive him. If this blog can remind anyone, anyone at all of that, then this blog is doing its job.

This is kinda just a bit of frustration and idk who else to talk to about it, but can you imagine if proshippers acted like antis? And i don’t even mean in the harassment way, i mean in the pitying way. A couple days ago i got an ask from someone who i used to be really close with where they tried to tell me why proshipping was unhealthy and that they “hoped i recovered and left the community” because they were “worried about my mental health” and just. Can you imagine if proshippers sent things like that??? Idk i don’t really have a point to this its just weird.

Some proshippers do act that way. Emmett himself has made multiple comments about how he feels bad for antis and hopes that they are able to get the help they need for coping with their issues. It's never said to be patronizing; he knows, as someone who used to be an 'anti', the type of insecurity and fear it takes to have the mindset of an anti.

I imagine some antis have the same intention. They genuinely believe that something must be wrong with someone to have a set of beliefs that they believe are immoral. It doesn't make it right to send you a message like that, but I don't consider it to be specifically 'anti' behavior.

Perfectly fine to vent your frustrations though. I don't know if you responded to the message, but if the sender just wants to preach about proshipping being 'unhealthy' without listening to your point of view, probably better just to delete and block.

objectum here! Its pretty debated whether or not its a paraphilia, especially due to people’s biases against paraphiles! Many objectums don’t like being associated with paraphiles, and consider being objectum to be a kink or sexuality. i personally consider it a paraphilia and consider myself part of the paraphile community. Idk if this rly helps tho lol

thank you for your input! i did see someone say something similar in the replies of that post, so i guess that must be the main subject of debate. which is unfortunate, since the paraphile community gets so much hate as is. 😔

like listen i think Bubble is funny but i'm also surprised by people who really like Bubble, or think Bubble is going to be a deeper part of the plot / maybe even the villain reveal. which is fine, i think it's very fun and creative, i just have Humanoid Bias so i don't really care for a floating bubble head with teeth xD

i will say tho, i fuck w/ the hc that Bubble is all the not-family friendly thoughts Caine's programming has filtered out of him

honestly, the most 'rancid' discourse i've seen so far has been antis in the Royalrabbit tag. but that's bc antis always have rancid takes lol

hmmm...i think anything involving Caine, Jax, and Ragatha has the potential to get nasty. a lot of fellow neurodivergents project onto Caine and use him being an AI to deny any accountability for his actions. a lot of victims of bullying or abuse see their tormentor in Jax and get upset when fans like him or critique any mistreatment of him, because "Bad People" deserve to be punished. and there seems to be this idea that if you don't like Ragatha (or even Ragatha x Pomni), you hate women. which is silly.

but that's just what i've picked up in my peripheral. i only read discourse if it's A. interesting B. written without the unnecessary moral policing language of "if you love/hate (x) then you're a (x) person" or anything along those lines and C. not written to be inflammatory or accusatory.
