No bones about it
From out of nowhere jumped a sheep. Wott and Botty are lurcher hounds and they've both had past lives of coarsing and prey attack. So, it was no surprise, except to me that all hell broke loose.
Both dogs suddenly reared up and then set off for the sheep. Sadly, their strength and acceleration pulled me to the ground. I hit the floor, face first, and I immediately realised there was blood and my glasses were in bits on the floor.
Thankfully, I'd not let go of the dogs and they'd decided they were in big shit and had ceased their adventure.
A painful and traumatic walk home, and I'm sorry to admit, I swore at Wott & Botty for most of it.
It transpired that I'd broken my nose and my humerus ... no, it wasn't!
There once was a man named john
Who wife was gone
He solved the mystery (miss terry)
But he was a fairy
So he sounded the sinister gong (?)
