Skipping class, to catch up on that same class 😭
Today I studied for 4h only Anatomy and I’m pretty satisfied with what I got done.
As I’ve said before I love studying muscles so one could say it was also enjoyable lol (kind of)

9 days later
favorite spot to study except for my room - it looks like a library but is actually a coffee shop
the holidays always kind of overwhelm me 🫠
Trying to be consistent 🎀

Well, finally back at home & i guess I've rested a little too much, so I got some work done today. Feels great !!
Our dorm in-charge is a really cruel lady. Like, why does she always act like we are her enemies or something??
Please, it's just not fair, being in junior year & having everyone be so unsupportive 😭
congratulations on finishing your midterm!!
also i need all the info you can on what medical damage a thagomizer (stegosaurus tail spike) could do to the middle of someone's abdomen? imagine you're facing the character. the wound is on your left side (character's right side)
i watched the final season of chaos theory season 4 and i am not well
THANK U BELOVED EHEHEHH <3 OMG CONGRATS!!! AND MY CONDOLENCES!!!
aight so im no expert but i think thats going to be painful af lol. structures on the right side of the abdomen top to bottom include:
lower lobe of right lung
right kidney but its pretty deep so nah
liver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
gallbladder
pancreas??????? its more in the middle
right colon flexure
le appendix
prob more but eh
also lots of nerves and vessels
and ofc rib bones
trauma to the liver is a ko i personally love bc its always fun to see what gates of hell that can open lol, namely massive internal bleeding and even toxic stuff moonwalking back into the blood (bc liver job = detox and break down chem compounds etc.) liver shots in boxing are no joke and are excuciatingly painful, but a puncture wound to the liver is a bit less dramatic lkfjkjgre
anyway if the spike stays in the body (as opposed to stab and retreat) the bleeding to death chances drop significantly afaik bc removing debris from the body creates a pressure imbalance. like in the case of lung puncture wounds u should never (as a bystander maybe even first responder idk etc) pull anything out bc then the lung will collapse. but i digress lol.
keep that spike in there if u can, if not then ur going to want something to stop the bleeding and since tourniquets are used for limbs and not the trunk its going to have to be someone pressing down on the wound to stop it from bleeding. fun fact if its an artery injury the blood comes out in spurts (not the water hydrant of blood we all imagine it to be lol) with each beat of the heart whereas venous bleeding will make a nice big puddle like a broken pipe essentially. lovely.
any hit to the abdomen i can assume literally and metaphorically knocks the breath out of u, i think breathing will be really shallow as well bc deep inhales are out of the question since itll aggravate the pain esp if the spike is still lodged in but if not itll still hurt bc well duh.
hm as long as the blood loss is not too extensive as to put the patient into hypovolemic shock (and greatly increase mortality risk/ rate if theyre still outside or far away from immediate surgical intervention) the chances of surviving are aight i think, so unless u want the gore and tension off the charts lmao lmk bc otherwise theyll be making a full recovery XD
ill read more into it if u want anything specific but this is what i have off the top of my head so i hope its of use!!! enjoy!!!!!!!! <3
~December so far~
Waiting for my winter breaks to begin studies
(A WEEK LONG BREAK)
27 november 2025
it’s been really long since a long post so here we go
life’s been really hectic lately and i’ve barely had space to breathe but it’s also fun. there’s dissection and labs and so much to learn and study. there’s horrible professors taking the most important topics and there’s this urge to sleep in everyday.
i had a test recently on upper limb - anatomy and it went decent ish. fucked up 2 short note questions but it’s okay. tomorrow i have a spotter test where they pin structures on the cadaver and we need to answer the question given about it, i haven’t really studied but eh ill figure it out.
i decorated my room yday after finishing my exam, really fun and relaxing tbh. i miss my guitar and playing my guitar as a way to destress, im gonna bring my guitar to the hostel next time i go home (december- christmas break)
i also have freshers coming up and i’m wearing a saree (which we had to beg our teachers to let us wear) i’ve got a wine red saree which looks pretty to me eheheh, i might also be dancing for freshers so let’s seeeee :)) maybe not cus i gave my name really late (wanted to play the guitar but group for that is eh and then dance slots got filled ish so i gave up and now i feel fomo)
anyways, i’m gonna start studying and catching up for other subjects from now on cuz i spent my full last week on anatomy. i’ve got 3 systems in physio and a lot of biochem to catch up on cuz i have a biochem viva coming up.
i also got room wifi so maybe i’ll post more regularly now and use this blog as motivation to stay consistent :)
have a nice one cutes
