Oh, hello VLD fandom!
So today let’s talk about stuff no one wants to talk about;
Let me start saying that I ship Klance, Shillura and I LIVE for non-binary Pidge (I don’t think they’re trans though) and Hunk is most likely ace in my view.
The reason I felt the need to make this post is because I too often see agressive posts like “do NOT interact if you ship *this* or if you’re into *this* hc!!!!” and then there’s the passive agressive ones like “idk why the fandom hates Shiro/Keith/Lance” or “I love vld but the fandom sucks”…
I just think this is so not healthy and like, why can’t you just enjoy the show in your way and let others enjoy it in their way? Seriously, what’s the struggle? Why all these generalizations? All this uncalled for rage?
So, my point is, I want to put it out there that my blog is a safe space for anyone in the fandom who ship whatever they ship and headcanon whatever they headcanon.
• You think Pidge is actually a girl rather than non-binary? Okay, we can discuss that.
• You think Lance is straight and has nothing to do with Keith? Fine.
• You ship Shidge/Sheith/etc? Not my thing but if it’s yours I don’t have a problem with it.
• You hc trans Pidge? Great.
I like this fandom. It’s not perfect, no fandom is, but it’s so not this hell hole many people told me it would be… The show’s all about friendship and overcoming differences and prejudices and oppressive/agressive systems so let’s try and follow that?
