Two Grizzly Bear Attacks Reported by FWS and WGFD
(Investigations are ongoing by FWS and WGFD regarding grizzly bear attacks on two hunters in Wyoming.)
Recent bear attacks on two hunters in Wyoming have once again established the extensive presence of grizzly bears in the region. While both hunters are fine, these incidents have put FWS and WGFD on high alert.
WGFD — Wyoming Game and Fish Department released a statement — the first of the two attacks took place on September 24th towards the evening. The incident took place in the elk hunting area of Thorofare. The hunter was injured and shifted to hospital after being airlifted from the site of the attack. The following Saturday, another grizzly bear attack took place in Rattlesnake Mountain. The bear charged at an archery hunter in the region west of Cody. Thankfully, in this case, the hunter escaped unharmed and the bear was hunted down.
The Fish and Wildlife Service of the US is getting assistance from WGFD in these investigations.

When to Hunt Birds in Missouri this Fall
It won’t be long now: you can hunt birds in Missouri now. You can see the geographic boundaries of the three — the south zone, the middle zone and the north zone — using FarWide’s powerful search engine.
Crow season starts November 1 and runs until the beginning of March. Crows can make life pretty miserable for farmers, so Missouri allows you to take as many as you’d like, and also allows the use of electronic calling devices, so have at it. It’s a great way to hunt birds.
The open season for Canada geese and brant begins on Veterans Day, November 11 and runs through February 6. It’s apt that open season begins on a day set aside to honor military veterans, because like many states, Missouri offers a great deal for military personnel who have been active within the past 12 months: a hunting permit for a mere $5.
American woodcock season begins statewide on October 15 and runs through the end of November. You can take three woodcock a day, and use a dog to help, but your shotgun can hold no more than three shells at a time; it’s only sporting, right?
Finally, a middle zone youth hunt will be held October 20–21. Kids 15 and under can hunt for ducks, geese and coots as long as they’re accompanied by an adult, 18 or older, who is anot allowed to hunt for ducks but can go for birds that are in season. Bag limits are generous but there are species limits, which you can read here.
10 Amazing Trout Fishing Spots in Rocky Mountain National Park
With more than 250,000 acres of wilderness, 124 named peaks and 147 lakes, Colorado’s Rocky Mountain National Park offers endless outdoor activities including hiking, camping, climbing, and, of course, trout fishing.
If you’re planning a fishing excursion to RMNP, be sure to arrive as early as possible. Parking at the more popular trailheads is very limited and fills up quickly, requiring shuttle access from Estes Park and other towns if there are no available spots. Plus, you’ll have better luck catching trout in the cooler hours of the morning.
Ideal timing for these locations is between July and August on less-crowded weekdays, though you’re sure to have a pleasant time in June and September even if the fish aren’t biting as much.
Check out ten trout fishing options below, and discover more using the FarWide app and in-browser experience.
Open Fishing Waters
1. Loch Vale
The hike to Loch Vale begins from the Glacier Gorge Trailhead. It’s a fairly easy hike by RMNP standards — 5.7 miles there and back with only moderate difficulty. On the way up to the Loch, which sits around 10,000 feet in elevation, you’ll make your way past beautiful waterfalls, including the popular Alberta Falls, named after the wife of early Estes Park settler Abner Sprague.
2. Lake of Glass and Sky Pond
If you’re looking for a challenge, continue past the Loch for a difficult scramble up along Timberline Falls — a gorgeous and impressive cascade — and make your way up to the Lake of Glass and Sky Pond, the latter of which is less than half a mile beyond the former. The trek isn’t for the faint of heart or the unsteady of foot, but if you’re up for it, it’s well worth the experience.

I don't even go to the school yet
But somehow ended up staying up late reading the meme page excessively.
On that note, you learn a lot about a school by reading their meme page. I learned that, like Stuy, the escalators don't work most of the time, the stoners and brown kids (not sure if mutually exclusive)hang out in the bridges, cafeteria food is expensive but they give out free (apparently bad) coffee, the alarm system when you swipe in wrong is deadly and shaming, and that there's almost no reception on the c floor.
Cool :D
