I wish the switch mark existed beyond the constraints of society.  I wish a switch could choose to be claimed by a dom and also claim a sub.  I wish switches didn’t have to deny and supress a part of themselves if they didn’t want to.

Still thinking a lot about gun control

I guess I don’t know what to say to the people who cling to their guns because they think they’ll need them to rise up against the United States government. It’s not like I trust the government that much either, in its current state; shit is inarguably pretty corrupt. I don’t think a theoretical insurrection is worth the real tangible lives we are losing every day, though? I guess I wonder what they think the government will do to them aside from ‘take their guns and leave them unable to revolt.’ Like what do you think they’re gonna do to you that the guns would prevent? Impose more taxes, I guess?

Maybe the cynical part of me wants to say, with today’s military technology, do you really think you stand a chance in an armed conflict? Plenty of people are willing to die for their ideals, though, that’s not really what it’s about. It’s the principle of the thing, not the outcome. They’ll happily die fighting for their right to die fighting. They've already been more than willing to sacrifice other people's children for their rights.

What kind of government do you want, I guess would be the question. What manner of abiding with other people would make you feel comfortable enough that you wouldn’t need to hedge your bets on blowing the whole thing to hell. And that’s the kind of thing that’s going to vary a lot from person to person- it’s also the place where a lot of people’s gross bullshit is gonna raise its ugly head.

Because for a lot of these people, they’ve been raised on these toxic racist masculine ideals, what they want is to be kings of their own little castles. Tyrants with tiny domains, reigning over as many children and womenfolk as they can keep submissive under one roof. They want to keep out the n****rs and the f*gs and the w*tbacks who have polluted the pure crisp apple-pie dreams of god-given supremacy with their insistence to be treated as human beings. Keep ‘em out. Shoot ‘em if they look too long at the girls.

Then there’s the ones who think that any taxes are bad taxes, no one deserves their charity. The world should be every man for himself, survival of the fittest. They’re so sure that they are the fittest and that they will survive. They don’t see all the little ways they depend on other people, for their food and their clothes and their health. They think there’s only one way to win.

But there’s others, too, and for some, can you really blame them? When America has eaten your home and ripped your language out of your throat, when you’re beaten and mocked and villainized, when your history and your existence is painted over and scrubbed away, it makes perfect sense to be wary. You never know when they’ll be coming back to finish you off.

So shit’s complicated, & I don’t have a good answer. The first two groups always think they’re the third, in their minds. They all see themselves as persecuted but only some of them are right. So how do you tell the first two to pull their heads out of their whiny entitled asses without insulting the third? How do you take away the first two’s toys while leaving the third a way to protect themselves? How do you get any of them to trust you, when all of them have very real reasons not to? I don’t know. People are dying. I don’t know what to do.

To The People Who Change Wiki Pages

To all those people who change the wiki pages for their own amusement or simply because you find it 'funny' by adding useless information and stating that "oh this character is very cute" or "this character is so and so's bf" when it is not stated canonly and has not been stated in the plot of the anime/manga/whatever wiki it is, please stop doing that. People actually use the wiki pages as references for writing and drawing and with you adding all that useless shit and messing up the wiki pages, it can not only throw us off, but it is also feeding people false information that frankly nobody needs. 

Please stop changing the wiki pages and adding unnecessary shit like that.
