Arackniss never looks up as he talks, his words laced with hurt and anger.

“I don't know who you are I have so much to learn...”

He still can’t believe he let himself be used. It would have been so much easier if Husk had used him for money. But he was just a toy to get Alastor’s attention.  

“Heaven forbid someone whisper "He's part of some scheme" Your enemy whispers So you have to scream.” There’s a brief pause as tired, angry eyes finally meet Husk’s gaze.  

“I know about whispers. I see how you look Alastor.”

The sound of a bottle broken as it’s smashed between his claws. He doesn’t care if the glass digs into his skin or not. 

“I'm erasing myself from the narrative Let future historians wonder how Arackniss reacted When you broke his heart. You have thrown it all away Stand back, watch it burn Just watch it all burn.”

♥↣ ℭ𝔩𝔞𝔴𝔰 tapped against the bottle held in Arackniss’s top set of hands with a small clink clink clink. He was indecisive on his current idea and had yet to open said bottle.  Teeth sank into the cork as he popped it open with ease and spat the cap in the nearest trash can. Is he really thinking about this right now? Yes, he is.

♥↣ ℜ𝔢𝔞𝔩𝔩𝔶, he shouldn’t be doing this but...it would be nice to be loved. He rarely used his abilities on anyone, especially not someone who he was genuinely interested in. Really, he only used this ability to lure victims he had to kill or...eat. This was different. He really, really liked Husk. Loved, in fact. He’d never do this! And yet...it was so tempting. Just cuddles. Not even kisses. That’s all he really wanted. And as soon as the effect wore off for the day, well, Husk didn’t even need to know. Just once he wants to be a little selfish.

♥↣ ℌ𝔢𝔯𝔢 goes nothing...Biting the inside of his cheek as golden eyes travel up the bartender’s body until eyes are locked. These eyes are slowly lidded and made to glow fiercely, if slightly seductive. He knows it’ll work. Husk will be in love with him, even if just for the day. He won’t do anything out of line with him, not even kisses while he’s under his spell. Just cuddles and fluffy things like that. Something like a preview to see what it would be like if his sentiments were returned at all.

He had a set of headphones on near silent volume while reading to drown out the sounds of the busy hotel around him. The book was one of his favorite series to read, a fantasy book.

Loki had made the mistake of getting comfortable on the couch like he had, because the music he was listening to put him to sleep. He had a finger in the book so he wouldn't lose his place, but that's not the problem.

The problem was that he fell asleep where everyone could see him, and that meant his ears and tail were exposed. Even now, those ears twitched while Loki slept.

𝕹𝖎𝖘𝖘 was beyond ecstatic about the fact he’d found someone. He’d never thought Angel’s stupid blin date ideas would ever actually work but- here they were! Funnily enough, he’d ended up meeting a cute little bunny gal, they’d talked a while, gotten along and oh- more dates. Until eventually Niss decided to ask her to be his girlfriend. And she said yes!

“Thanks, I’m reall ‘appy ta have met ‘er! It’s- been a while since I las’ got in th’ datin’ game,”

He admitted. He didn’t seem to have registered the undertone of Husk’s words, seeing as his mood was way higher than usual and he was openly smiling a bit.

Kurapika would never admit it, but he was a bit nervous as he stood outside of Mito’s home. Gon had invited him to his home in Whale Island for whatever reason. It wasn’t a birthday, as far as he knew. And it probably wasn’t a Whale Island holiday considering there had been no mention of Killua or Leorio being present, either.

Still, the Kurta dressed in a suit, as he tended to do ever since he became a bodyguard for the Nostrades and then a bodyguard for the Rou family’s fourteenth child.

He knocked on the door after a deep, deep breath to relax himself. How long had it been since he’d talked to the others?

It had been exactly one month since Arackniss and Husk had gotten back together. One month since tears and confusion and pain. One month since they slept in each other’s arms for the first time in a whole year. One month. And Arackniss was still anxious. He still had walls he’d put up around Husk because of what happened before. He just couldn’t be the same way around him anymore. He still loved him, and it showed. But he was slightly more anxious, more catious. There was hesitance in some of his movements.

Lilith and Lucifer had decided to come on this day to the Hotel. Because Arackniss had stayed there for the month and they missed him. So now the small spider was squished between two bodies on the lobby couch, arms wrapped around him as Lucifer stared intently at Husk, who sat on a chair facing them. The first two rulers didn’t want Husk near Niss at that moment in particular. Lilith was asking Arackniss several questions, some more personal than others. Right in front of Husk.

“Has he hit you? Has he yelled at you? Has he threatened you? Has he fed you? Has he taken care of you? Has he...” etc, etc.
