More than anything, listeners on Soundcloud just look for fun shit. Hip hop heads can get high budget, crazy instrumentation, multiple-writer songs from a major label on Spotify, but on Soundcloud, it’s raw entertainment. With that in mind in makes sense that there’s not a ton of thought put into most Soundcloud rap lyrics, and more thought put into capturing a certain energy, but when an artist can do both, capture that energy & write some witty, well-thought out lyrics, it’s something special, and idkjeffery is that something special. His shit is clever as fuck, and also easy to use as turn up music. Not many others can do that, and that’s why he’s got a dedicated fanbase ready to play his shit on almost any occasion.
