Worse News Than A Sandwich

I had a salami, prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich today, but since that is probably what I am going to have tomorrow, I am going to take about some bad news.

My favorite Hollywood bbq joint closed. Huston's wasn't the best bbq you could find, but definitely the best in Hollywood. 

I guess it closed sometime back in July, but I hadn't been down Cahuenga in a while so I didn't notice. I don't know where I will get bbq now. I am at a loss. 

Sure, a delicious place is taking over, Berlin Currywurst, but it still won't replace the bbq hole left in my heart.

I miss you Huston's, I wish I had patronized you more often.

I was seven when I saw The African Queen. That's when I knew what I wanted to do and I had dreams about Hollywood and things. My mum had a big old MGM film book and I would just sit and read it, well look at the pictures. I just thought it was so glamorous and great. And really I'm just amazed that I'm here.
