Jimin was having trouble keeping up his customer servicesmile as a customer kept complaining to him about the increase in price of herfavorite drink. Some sort of fruit drink with chia seeds that Jimin would nevertouch because the texture reminded him too much of cold porridge. Just thethought of drinking it had Jimin zoning out and mentally shivering as heimagined the sticky cold texture going down his throat.

Despite her complaining the girl put the drink down on thecounter and pulled him out of his thoughts. She seemed to be waiting for him tosay something so he just gave her an apologetic smile and rang up her items. “Thankyou for coming!” he said as brightly as he could as she all but snatched the receiptfrom his hands and stormed out.

He sighed to himself and moved to go back to gather hisstuff since his shift would be over soon. The voice caught him offguard and he jumps a bit before offering the other a sheepish smile. “Right?You’d think people would know that I’m just an employee and don’t actuallycontrol the prices. But hey what can I do?” Setting his stuff back down he walks backover to the other “Did you need help with anything Jaebum-shi?”

// getting away with murder

The clacking of keys seems to vibrate around Jaebum as he furiously typed away a new chapter of his novel.  Well it isn’t exactly new, but considering this is the third time he’s rewriting it and he’s introducing a new character–he’s calling it new.  Next to him are a few sheets of paper that list out official language and jargon of the judiciary sector of the government with a few in particular circled in red.  

It doesn’t surprise him when Jihoon leans over and sees the writings and has that sort of reaction.  In fact, he’s already smiling before the other even says it out loud.  But reminds himself to have the proper surprised reaction as if the other managed to sneak up on him totally.  Pulling his earbuds out, he turns and offers an amused chuckle and slides over another sheet of paper.  On it is a list of names and he points to one.  “Tell that to Hoon here.  But don’t worry, he won’t get away with it.  Maybe.”

Jihoon wasn’t the type to drop out of nowhere and burst someone’s concentration bubble but with all the paper scattered around the other - someone from his elective class, Jihoon recognizes - he couldn’t help it. Slowly approaching the other, steps quiet as he peeked at the other, waiting for the perfect time to speak. He hadn’t expect the other to reply so quickly to his statement.

“Maybe?” Jihoon questioned, eyebrow raising. Of course, it would make for a boring novel if the other was caught so easily. “I mean, I guess if the cops you include in your novel are component enough then he’ll get caught. That or if he’s a skilled enough murderer, he won’t...” Jihoon muttered softly, “Is it alright if I take a seat?” Shifting his horror novels from one arm to the other, Jihoon tilted his head to the right, eyes peering at the other questioningly. He didn’t mind moving elsewhere but it was nice to be around people he knew.

"I have conflicted feelings here."

There’s only one way to describe the nihilism Jinsook feels in this moment... and yet, it’s entirely unspoken of; with a flat line etched across her lips, her gaze, sharper than the blades she adored so, piercing his in aversion as she slowly brings an outstretched finger to point towards the strike pad discarded on the floor. “You said you would help me, therefore-- quit whining like a prissy princess and grab hold of the pad, I’m only practising my high kicks so you don’t need to worry about your uh...” Wrinkling her nose up in thought, opting to find a better, less... obvious, wording than ‘kick you in the nuts’, Jinsook slips on her foot protector with an increasingly conceited smirk as she then proceeded onto limbering up. “I ‘aint gonna kick you in your--- man-kangaroo pouch, you’ve got nothing to worry about.”

"I’ve been working on something I’d like to show you."

    It was lazy day. Sundays were meant to be peaceful and so far he had succeeded. When he wants something he will not give up until he gets it. Even if what he wants means not doing anything at all. Contradicting right?

   When Jaebum walks into their shared room that afternoon he nearly rolls onto the wall to avoid capture. He was just finishing a a trial on his Pokemon game and gearing up for another nap. Alas; he ends up setting down his 3DS next to his pillow and sits up. Truth be told, the other’s words made his curiosity peek.

    He pats the empty spot next to him and immediately leans onto him once he’s been seated. ‘Tell me everything’ Jinyoung thinks as he pats the others arm hoping the gets the message.

"It is not a feeling I wish to experience again."

Jihoon wasn’t exactly ecstatic to experience the same again. Dashing from one class to another class within the 10 minute break provided in between was not something he ever wanted to experience again. Unfortunately for him and the other, they were both fated for this daily routine. Well, not so daily… More like two a week? The only issue was one class was at one side of the campus and the other was on the other side - not ideal at all. At least this would provide him with the physical activity he needed to make up for the time he spent sitting around.

Either way, if he wasn’t half-dead from pulling several all nighters to study for his Income Tax II class the previous nights leading up to Winter semester registrations, he would have noticed this. However, he didn’t. By the time he figured it out, all other time slots for this particular class was booked. Huffing at the door, the male attempted to calm himself before entering. He had at least 3 more minutes before class officially began.

“I agree,” Jihoon huffed, using the back of his hand to wipe the sweat from his forehead. “Unfortunately, we’re stuck with this for another three to four more months.” The male sighed, before straightening his tie to enter the second elective class he had that day. As much as he totally enjoyed doing finances and business reports, he really needed breaks from it.
