these are all options i've been seeing in usage. let's vote as a community and pick one so stuff gets organized at some point.
Post cannon bannerfall headcannnons wooooooooo
1. Sausage's plan worked and no war occurred in Bannerfall after his death, at least none during the life time of the remaining cast
2. Frogue and Cam often return to Sausages grave in the flower field. Sometimes Katie will join them.
3. Rue and The Big Ass Frog returned a couple days after the war, turns out they just fled to avoid the conflict. While it wasn't shown I also think Peppa and Cleo hid in the arena while all the creaking king stuff went down.
4. Red kingdom helped Frogue hollow out the creaking heart, that cavern is now an expansion of the Fark-Hall.
5. The circus came back to collect their tent after the war and were VERY concerned when everything that happened was explained to them.
6. With the Dungeon destroyed the jesters escaped. They tried to crash the Jousting tournament but were chased away by Queen Bek and Queen Graecie.
7. Speaking of the Jousting tournament, Bek absolutely swept everyone else. It quickly went from "Red Kingdom vs. Blue Kingdom" to "can literally anyone here beat Ser Bek?". The answer was no.
8. Despite not needing to Katie does sneak in to visit Kitty. She's getting pretty good at it too.
9. Though, that did lead to her sneaking in one time and accidentally catching Owain with his helmet off. That was awkward for the both of them.
10. While on the topic of Owain, I think a mix of him getting closer with Kitty and the lack of any violent conflict with Red makes him more comfortable than he had been before. Maybe he starts taking his helmet off around Kitty.
11. I think Cambam and Frogue get closer since their the only two who fully mourn Sausage. Maybe Cambam even finds a way to get Frogue back to his Human form if that's something he still wants.
12. Katie makes matching crestes for herself, Kitty, and 4C. They are now all siblings after all.
13. Katie ends up training 4C for the first few years when he's becoming a Knight, and when it's his time to be knighted she wears the crown again and is the one to do it.
14. Katie and 4C travel together to Soluna to train with Apo and Cherri for a while, and both end up becoming official Moonkights, though Katie wears her normal grey armour more than the moon Knight armour.
15. Katie keeps Noms armour on the armourstand in her bedroom, underneath where she hangs the torn drawing, now mended.
16. Though it takes a long ass time, I think Frogue does eventually apologise to Cherri, Katie and Eloise about the Prince.
17. The red Kingdom architecture takes on a slight Solunian style after receiving aid from King Ren.
18. Scott and/or Mae sleep in the Well Well Well for a few days while rebuilding Blue kingdom, afterwards they head off on the S.S. Nom, but whenever they come back they make sure Nom's house is still upkept.
19. Shan goes with Graecie to the grotto for a while after the war and opens up about what happened to her in the past.
20. Not really a post cannon thing, but Shan is selectively mute, maybe out of fear of using her siren abilities on someone again.
21. Kitty and Katie go on a trip together sometime after the war, I'm not sure where. Maybe they meet Legundo along the way. They also go out for Drinks at the Rue bar quite often.
22. Avid and his family come to live in the kingdoms after he pays off his debt, they aren't affiliated with either kingdom and just live down at the beach.
23. Lady death sounds and looks like Santa Pearla. Maybe she's even another side to her, Santa Pearla is said to bare "the twin burdens of light and darkness" after all.
24. Oh, and Lady Death didn't abandon Sausage, she was just waiting until Nom arrived to take them together. And yes Nom and Sausage did have a talk one last time before moving on, and Nom did give him that Punch from Frogue and Hug from Cam.
25. Speaking of Nom, if anyone goes to the cliffs behind the Dungeon of Bannerfall, they may just find, on a cliff overlooking the sea, a cherry tree sprouting from the ground and around a tombstone topped with a crafting table, and at least once a week, on a Friday, a Knight and a Slime meet below that tree and play a game of Farkle.
So can I finally declare Nom a villiam yet or do I have to wait 24 hours?
Hey do you think Kitty is so dedicated to keeping Katie safe because she reminds them of their old Knight? Or is that just me.
Possibly unpopular opinion, but I think red Kingdom are going to win this war.
Looking at it from a PVP perspective, while Blue does have the better fighters overall, Red has more knights. It's also worth remembering that Nom has stated in the past that he would let Katie kill him if the two were to fight. Even if that idea is abandoned and he does try to kill Katie, that's just going to result in him getting wombo comboed by hellfire and Kitty when they come to help her. On the topic of Rogues I'd also say red has the advantage here. While a Rogue on both sides was recently burned by their kingdom, Frogue seems a lot more happy to ignore that for the sake of the war than I imagine 4C and Nom will be. Frogue is also a better Fighter than the blue kingdom Rogue and I'd argue Kitty is the best Rogue at actually sneaking around.
As for Mages, blue does actually have more mages, but mages are a support class with not a lot of damaging spells, at least not ones that won't also kill their own kingdom. They have means to avoid conflict, but if they are attacked they'll go down very quickly. People say blue is likely to win because of Scott, but Scott's main skills in series like this are: being good a fighting (he's not a PVP class) and Trap Making (I don't think I've seen redstone at all on bannerfall at all and his favourite trap of "hole in the steps" doesn't work because they have no inclosed staircases big enough to fit a pitfall)
There's other factors too, Red has the better unique abilities (Apos lunge is good for movement and getting into the backlines for a pincer or to get over traps, Katie's sand can disorient knights and alow people to sneak past, frogue tounge can pull the blues into their own traps, into red knights to be overwhelmed or up a cliff for a drop attack) (also Noms mace needs height and can harm his own kingdom, so likely won't be useful in field warfare)
It's also worth remembering that the reds are simply better organised. They're working together way better than the Blues, especially now that the blues have to deal with the Rotten king. Future King Sausage may be war hungry, but the reds are better strategically and better at listening to each other, they could convince him to play more defensively rather than rushing into an attack. Meanwhile King Owain or Queen Graecie is gonna have to fix whatever mess King nom gets the kingdom into before they can launch an attack. Red is better at ambushing, using Potions, doing Mounted combat, and using their skills in tandem with each other.
Blue is a collection of soilders, Red is a kingdom.
Final Bannerfall Predictions:
1. Katie goes against sausages orders and refuses to attack the blue kingdom, referencing Noms oathbreak and what happened with the Prince in the process.
2. 4C or Mae leads their kingdom through the Rogues tunnels to either launch and attack or run away.
3. Someone destroys the gossip garden
4. Someone hides in the rue bar to avoid fighting
5. Bek breaks orders to protect El from a red kingdom member.
6. Nom gets taken over fully by the creaking king and becomes a puppet of either him or suasage
7. Someone other than nom gets mind controlled by Sausage
8. Katie and Kitty launch a final assault on the creaking king to try and save Nom and Sausage
9. Cam begs with a blue kingdom member to spare Sausage so he can try and cure him of the creaking kings influence
10. Katie forced is forced to kill nom, possibly to save Kitty
11. The creaking king breaks out of the Dungeon or Sausage absorbs his power and gains his attacks, becoming the final boss.
12. Owain dies.
13. Scott pulls another self sacrifice
14. Red and Blue works together to kill the creaking king/sausage
15. Final grave building Montage and drinks un the rue bar when the war ends.
16. Everyone leaves the kingdoms behind and goes into the world once the series ends.
17. If they both survive, Kitty and Katie go off together to explore the world
18. If they both survive, Cherri and Apo return to solina and final confess their feelings to each other
19. Same for Bek and El
20. Mae and 4C, Shan and Graecie, and Cam and Scott also pair off if they all survive.
Two for two on me getting obsessed with and actually crying over the pow creations character who's main struggle is believing themselves to be a irredeemable monster undeserving of the good things in their life because of the deaths they caused.
