I started reading the manhwa/webtoon of semantic error, which is the story for the new hwang daseul drama (she directed where your eyes linger and to my star). [Edit: i was wrong and it's not being directed by hwang daseul after all.] And y'all, the story is great and the enemies to lovers plotline is so. good. The two protagonists realllly push each other's buttons, but then halfway through they independently realize how much they like each other but they don't want to admit their attraction to themselves, let alone to each other, so they keep half pushing each other's buttons and half trying to get closer to each other, and the resulting romantic tension between them is juicy.
Plus the personality clash of the popular bi/pansexual and the "robotic" demi is super fun. I loved the detail of the demi guy saying his first love was an excavator toy as a child and then his realization that he's having that same feeling for--gasp--another human for the first time ever, and--gasp--it's not a human he can biologically procreate with. He had always thought human love and marriage was a lie society told to help promulgate the human species, but now he's actually feeling it himself and he has no idea what to do with those feelings.
And the other protagonist who is used to being well-liked and seen as easygoing having to deal with someone who makes his temperature rise, both with annoyance and attraction, and trying to reconcile those two things is also very fun. With what she did with the slight enemies to lovers in to my star (ok that was more one enemy and one puppy), i just know hwang daseul is gonna knock this one out of the park.
