hybrid!lance stroll x hybrid!male!reader x hybrid!mick schumacher

request: Okay so hybrid lynx!Lance getting to play in the snow for the first time with puppy!Mick who loves the snow but gets cold easily. Being warmed up by both Lance and snow leopard!reader. And Lance just being extremely excited and goofy about things with both of you. Have fun with it and you can change anything to help better with ideas. ~🐺

warnings: mildly reckless behaviour, very very mild insecure!mick, mostly fluff

lance is so excited the first time he gets to join you and mick for winter break

i think maybe he would’ve recently joined your relationship, so you and mick are used to your snow routine, but lance is so excited to join in?

you + lance are so much more accustomed to the cold temperatures

lance is pouncing around and burying himself in the snow and having the time of his life

you might do the same thing, or maybe you spent the time making snow leopard-angels or drawing on the fresh snow

and mick … mick is the most clumsy puppy in the snow you’ve ever seen

he’s trying to keep up with you two!! and he does a remarkably good job for a species/breed that is not designed for cold weather

he definitely trips over snow a few times

mick loves tunneling under the snow with lance and making little dens with you

he gets up to the surface again and does that lil shake to get the snowflakes out of his hair

honestly you and lance probably have to drag mick out of the snow

he loves it so much because its so fun and he loves seeing his boyfriends in their element!!

but also his lips are turning blue and he’s shivering so maybe a break is a good idea

lance absolutely takes over hot chocolate making in your house

he has the recipe perfected okay?

the three of you will curl up on a nice comfy makeshift-den in front of the fireplace, with mick being sandwiched in the middle to help him warm up faster

he’ll definitely be asking to go straight back outside as soon as he feels better

even if you and lance insist on bundling him up

oooh you and lance taking turns pulling mick around on a sled so he can still be involved without having to actually get in the snow

making snowmen but with animal ears and tails

mildly unrelated but you definitely wear the most obnoxious winter sweaters ever

you guys tried being aesthetic one year and immediately missed the colors and whimsy

snowball fights!!

mick is actually the best at these

ironically

he has better hand-eye coordination than either you or lance

you need a very very good snow barrier or a very very thick tree to hide behind

by the time the sun starts to set (at about three pm, logically), mick is shivering and turning blue again

so you and lance herd him back inside for more cuddles

mick might get a little pouty that he can’t keep up with the two of you in the snow

but you just gotta remind him that there are plenty of things he as a dog hybrid is better at than snow leopard + lynx hybrids

and reminding him that he’s wayyyyyy less miserable in hot weather than the two of you are

he’ll be back to your happy bouncy puppy soon, don’t worry

and then you get to officially welcome lance into your winter holiday traditions by cuddling up together in bed with mugs of hot chocolate and watch home alone!

otter!oscar + rock collection ??

sea otters tend to keep rocks they like to use as “tools” and to play with so I can just imagine Oscar showing you his rock collection 😭

okay first of all, adorable???

oscar doesn't show much of his otter side to you for a very long time

when he does, he tests the waters so slowly because he's nervous about how you'll react

you're absolutely fine of course

you sorta hint to oscar that he can do whatever he needs to

once he gets comfortable, he very shyly shows you his rock collection

some of them are rocks he's had since he was a kid

he'll show you how he uses them—to open packages, to crack nuts and shells, to play with, ones he thought were pretty ...

and then he gets to the ones he's collected since he met you

and some of them are practical!

most of them are just ones that reminded him of you

that he thought you'd like

that he wanted to show you because they were pretty

if he finds a shiny rock or a crystal, oscar will very happily show it to you

bonus if he gets to curl up on your lap and tell you about them

he's so cute

he genuinely loves showing you his rocks

ROUTINE

hybrid!formula one x male!reader

request: requesting about hybrid!drivers (dog!mick and bunny!charles, + any others you want to add) and their post-race routines?!

summary: your boyfriend has a very specific post-race routine.

warnings: mentions of ferrari’s interesting strategies (charles), mild angst to comfort (lance), very very mild implication of logan’s mistreatment (logan), non-hybrid friendly scheduling (oscar)

contains: charles leclerc, lance stroll, logan sargeant, mick schumacher, + oscar piastri

bunny!charles leclerc:

charles was quite a clingy boyfriend, but his post-race routines were fairly simple. he doesn’t need material things or even for you to do all that much. he does all of his team duties first. he may be a clingy bunny, but he lives and breathes ferrari and will never ever ever do anything to disappoint them.

once he’s finished in the media pen, doing his team debrief, and congratulating or commiserating with each and every single one of his mechanics and engineers, he’ll meet you in his driver’s room. you should be sitting on the little sofa, with a nice soft blanket or a nice cold drink (with a straw—his bunny teeth are very sensitive) depending on the weather. he’ll come over and flop down on your lap. charles makes the cutest squeaky-humming noise whenever you hug him.

he’ll want you to massage his ears (they get quite sore being pressed flat to his skull during races) while he tells you absolutely everything. some details are more “important”, like his view of incidents and penalties during the race. sometimes he’ll rant about his team’s strategies, and you were the only one who would ever hear him say a negative thing about the scuderia. sometimes he’d just ramble for a solid 30 minutes about things he noticed around the track, like a pretty flower. you’re often the last couple to leave the paddock.

cat!lance stroll:

he hates doing media, so he’ll rush through interviews to get back to you. lance is at the point cats get to where they’re so tired and frustrated that they’re more than ready to draw blood. if anyone tries to drag him into an argument post-race they will regret it. for most people, it’s common sense not to mess with a cat hybrid when they’re tired. unfortunately many people in the world of formula one are somewhat lacking in common sense.

by the time he gets to you, lance is often overstimulated and angry and has maybe even used his claws. it doesn’t help his reputation, but he can’t help it and you can’t blame him. not when you’ve seen how insistently people ignored his boundaries. he’ll let out a sort of angry, screaming meow of frustration when you start cuddling him. don’t be deterred—it’s just a vocalisation. he knows you respect his space when he needs it, but he still puts up token resistance so you know he’s letting you do this. he’ll melt into your touch soon enough.

unlike some other drivers, he will not want to talk. he’s so overstimulated that even hearing you talk will grate on his nerves. just scratch behind his ears and maybe play fight with him a little to help him get out the excess energy. eventually he’ll get reallyyyyy blinky. that’s how you know he’s ready to go home and take one of his beloved naps with you.

lynx!logan sargeant:

big ears, big heart—logan’s the cuddliest feline in the paddock. most lynx hybrids were very very heat intolerant, but since he grew up in florida, he’s got a little bit of extra immunity. no matter where in the world you are, logan will want cuddles all the time.

he loves you so much and he absolutely does not fit the solitary stereotype of his species. honestly, if he could be within arm’s reach of you 24/7, 365, he’d basically just be a happy purring kitten. forget formula one, logan would just as happily spend all day as your personal heater and lap cat. post-race, he’d quite like to just curl up on your lap and either tell you all about his race or listen to you talk about just about anything.

after a little debrief in his driver’s room, you’ll go back to the hotel/apartment and have a proper cuddle, with the fan cranked up. sometimes he’s perfectly happy to just lie with you in silence. if he’s had a bad race or bad weekend, though, he’ll prefer to watch a sitcom or something else lighthearted. you may or may not manage to turn the tv off before you both fall asleep.

dog!mick schumacher:

he’s generally pretty high-energy after a race. in stark comparison to the others, he gets adrenaline rushes that extend for a couple hours beyond the actual race ends. he does interviews, team debriefs, gets head pats from all his mechanics and also several other drivers, meets about two dozen extra fans, and does several cute lil tiktoks with his team before he even gets back to you.

even after all of that, he’s still got leftover energy. item number one will always be running around with him and (ideally) playing fetch to tire him out. it’ll probably take hours, a lot of zoomies, and a full weekend debrief for him to finally settle down. he shouldn’t, but mick will feel guilty for being so much work for you (he’s not) and will insist on making and bringing you your comfort beverage and snacks. he’s a sucker for a good rom-com while snuggling in bed after a race. belly rubs are mandatory.

koala!oscar piastri:

the cuddliest cuddler to ever cuddle, and the clingiest boyfriend to ever cling. the second he’s out of the car oscar is basically climbing into your arms no matter what. he doesn’t care whether you're bigger or smaller than him—you will have to give him at least a piggyback.

poor baby’s so sleepy. he’s usually borderline nocturnal after all! and on race weekends he has to be out and functioning all day and he barely even gets any naps. if you’re bigger than or roughly the same size as oscar, you should be prepared for him to just hook his arms around your neck and whine until you pick him up. if you’re smaller, expect him to be dragging you with him to media and almost falling asleep with you on his lap during the team debrief.

once he finally gets to retreat to his driver’s room with you, oscar will munch on a few special koala hybrid snacks with eucalyptus before promptly falling asleep on you. his whole post-race recovery routine is based around getting a few solid hours of sleep. in an ideal situation, with his head on your chest so he can listen to your heartbeat as he dreams.

Otter!Oscar and the blanket dam he makes in bed?

I feel like he would scratch anyone who tries to touch it while it's being made. Including you, although he'll nurse your wound later, but right in the center there's just enough room for the two of you to cuddle close in a ball

oscar is very protective of his little den

nobody touches it

nobody moves it

nobody changes it

nobody does anything unless he says it's okay

this includes you

when he's building it, he absolutely does not want you touching it

or even being in the room if that's an option

(he wanted to surprise you, sue him)

out of instinct, he swipes at you when you reach out just to feel one of the blankets

he doesn't realise until much later that he actually scratched you and he feels so bad about it

especially if you're hesitant to touch the den he's so excited to show you because of it

you'll get over it pretty quickly though

oscar just drags you right into the center and curls up with you

he's definitely a little spoon

i don't make the rules i just broadcast them

so he tucks into your side and grabs your injured hand, wraps it around his waist, and then brings it up to his mouth so he can "kiss it better"

he's very insistent on that actually

plenty of kisses until you feel all better

and once you're not scared of touching the den without oscar's permission (you get blanket permission after he's done building it), the two of you spend hours and hours and hours cuddled up in it

oscar hums and chirps so much

if you get him extra tired he'll even knead on your chest (despite being an otter hybrid)

both of you are thrilled to get a swimming partner

especially a swimming partner who isn't bothered by cold water!!

it probably starts out with just you two swimming together

and before either of you know it it's the best part of your weeks

chirping and chittering to each other underwater

trading rocks!!! oscar gives you his favourite tools/toys and you give him the prettiest rocks you can find

both of you blushing when you realise what the rocks mean to each other

it's such a slow process for the two of you to get together

but when you do?

it's soooooo adorable

oscar teaches you how to float so you can cuddle up together like otters do

you teach him how to do mutual preening

the two of you build a little den/nest together

with all your rocks on a special display shelf

so many cuddles

literally, you two are almost always cuddling

the only times you're not are during races or when you're swimming

if you're swimming you'll take turns throwing diving toys for each other

or race each other

lots of underwater kisses as well

you both hate the hot weather races

you spend pretty much every second of those weekends in ice "baths" (the hotels have to cool down pools for you and other arctic/antarctic hybrids to escape to)

and even then, the other drivers are so sick of how in love you and oscar are

they're just jealous

you two are just too cute together

so my first thought is like you two first move in together, and you walk into the bathroom to see oscar has crammed his way into your bathtub.

anyways, you guys end up getting a home with a pool to which he constantly falls asleep on his back in. he'll bump into the side of the pool and accidentally scare himself awake, but he tries to play it off (hint: it doesnt work)

otter!oscar who gets to the point of needing to be in the water and crams into the little bathtub in your tiny bathroom. he's squirming when you find him and stutters out a whiny complaint about there not being enough room.

otter!oscar who you love so much that a new house with a good-sized pool for him to float around in becomes your top priority.

otter!oscar who is soooo squeaky with excitement when you show him the house you've found with a nice big pool.

otter!oscar who regularly falls asleep floating on his back, but only when you're sitting off to the side and reading a book or drawing or something.

otter!oscar who startles every time he drifts into the side of the pool and tries play it cool.

otter!oscar who, despite trying not to show you that he was scared awake, will kind of squeak and swim over to nuzzle your legs for reassurance before he goes to sleep again.

otter!oscar who is obsessed with having you fluffing his tail and helping groom him, even if he doesn't like to admit it.

can i request golden retriever!mick x driver black cat!reader? where mick being hopelessly in love with him and is hanging out with him for months but black cat reader doesnt show any interest. so mick goes back to hanging out with his besties mick and lance. reader gets jealous and starts doing anything and everything to get mick back.

mick absolutely follows you around like a lost puppy

he's all smiles and tail wags and floppy ears

he's gets noticeably happier whenever he's around you

which is an achievement given his bubbly golden-ness

and he's trying so hard to spend as much time as possible with you

he tries so hard to make you happy and as giddy as he is

the only issue is that he doesn't quite realise that you, as a black cat hybrid, just aren't programmed to be as outwardly happy as golden!mick is

so your version of being pretty affectionate with someone you're not dating in public is just not getting upset that he's around you

having mick around just becomes normal to you

when he just goes back hanging out with este and lance, you get very frustrated by the lack of his presence

it's not that you don't want him to spend time with his friends!

you really don't want to isolate him or anything, you're just confused because he disappeared

one day he was following you around all happy and smiley

the next he was just gone

so you start kinda doing that thing that cats do

following your person around but at a bit of a distance and like

"i just happened to be here how would i know you would be too"

"this is my driver's room"

"... what's your point"

mick is so confused by it

because when he was hanging around you you seemed pretty indifferent

but now that he stopped it felt like you cared more?

it takes a conversation with cat!lance for mick to understand that actually your indifference meant that you did like him

and you following him around? (even if you pretended like you weren't?)

finally he asks you out

he's a bit nervous that lance has gotten it wrong and you're just messing with him

you're not

well you are a little bit but not on purpose

mick very quickly learns that lance was right and you were in fact being affectionate

especially because whenever you're alone now you generally stop pretending like you're not just as much of a simp for him as he is for you

curling up with him and purring and kneading on his chest and tummy and thighs

you're still not really gonna initiate affection in public but you also won't deny mick's attempts either

you will also hiss and scratch at anyone who says anything mean about mick
