“you alright there, lo?” you murmured, watching his chest heave as oscar finally pulled away.

logan simply whined in response. as much as he enjoyed it when you and oscar teamed up on him like this, it definitely wore him out.

oscar chuckled and kissed logan’s cheek. “i’ll go get you a snack and start running a bath.”

you hummed, pulling in oscar for a kiss before he left. this was always how aftercare went with the three of you—whoever had subbed that time was never left alone for longer than a minute or so, and if whoever had dommed was feeling a little off, they’d stay while whoever felt okay got supplies. it was never a big ordeal.

picking up the glass of water on the bedside table, you brought it to logan’s lips gently. “drink up.”

logan whined again before taking a few tentative sips and curling into your side.

“whole glass, love, you can do it,” you encouraged him softly. the sound of water rushing through the pipes became white noise as oscar started running a bath for logan.

somewhat reluctantly, the blond drank the rest of the water. he stayed pressed into your side. “all full.”

your lips quirked into a soft smile. you, logan, and oscar had been together since you were all about fifteen years old. more than long enough to know that none of you had anything. usually, all three of you were very prepared when it came to protected sex. you and oscar would wear condoms, logan was on birth control—necessary even though he had been taking testosterone for years. but every now and then you’d slip up.

when the three of you were drunk or after particularly bad races when it was sometimes a stretch to even get back to the hotel room with everyone’s clothes on and intact, that was when you were a little less vigilant.

“i know, logie.” you heard the water shut off and oscar’s footsteps getting closer. “let’s get you cleaned up, huh?”

you huffed slightly when you saw “fans” starting to say that your boyfriends loved each other more just because of the contents of a silly instagram post.

it had been a pretty open secret all throughout your junior careers that you avoided media attention as much as you possibly could. it was part of what gave way to your nickname as the new iceman—that, and the fact that you were a ferrari driver. every single one of your former teammates had said you were very nice off-camera. you just really, really didn't like the media.

“people are weird,” you complained to logan, the two of you cuddled together on the bed in your hotel room. oscar was still in debrief with his team. as happy as his first grand prix victory was, it had come in ... less than ideal circumstances. “why can’t they just be happy for osc without trying to pick apart our relationship?”

logan sighed. he pressed a light kiss to your shoulder. “i don’t know, babe.”

you paused. the season had been difficult for all three of you. between oscar dealing with papaya rules, you dealing with ferrari’s creative strategy calls, and logan dealing with his car’s inferiority, it was rare for all three of you to have a good week at the same time.

and of course, with you and oscar now both having won races, you worried for logan’s self-esteem.

“you doing okay?” you asked softly. “know your car’s the only reason you’re not up there too?”

“more or less.” logan hummed. “just happy for osc at the moment.”

“good.”

summer break was bittersweet.

sweet: you got to spend it having fun with your boyfriends.

bitter: there was more talk than ever about logan not deserving his seat.

neither you nor oscar thought it was fair. logan had been feeling off since hungary. at first, you had assumed it was him dealing with feelings of inadequacy because it was virtually impossible for him to put his williams on the podium. then he started throwing up. one trip to the doctor later, the three of you were suddenly faced with many decisions—where to live? what to say? who to tell? what to do?

logan, of course, had mixed feelings himself. he had many hopes for his formula one career, and he didn’t expect to have to take a break less than two years in.

he needed you and oscar. he couldn’t imagine the idea of facing this without his boyfriends.

it had been the hardest decision of logan’s life.

of course he knew it was the right one, and he had been guaranteed a seat when he was ready, but it was still terrifying. there was no public announcement. not yet, at least. he didn’t have the time or energy to think about how the media would react to finding out that not only was he trans, he was also pregnant. with one of his boyfriends’ baby. both of whom were also formula one drivers. god, he couldn’t even imagine the headlines they’d come up with.

“we’re proud of you,” oscar reminded logan.

you nodded, kissing logan’s shoulder from behind him as the three of you waited to enter the paddock. “you sure you don’t want one of us to take care of you?”

“i’m sure.” logan took a deep breath. he adored both oscar and you, and he wouldn’t dream of letting either of you to give up driving. not for him. “my family will take care of me. and i’m pretty sure mae will riot if oscar tries to keep her away from baby.”

oscar chuckled at logan’s joke about his youngest sister. though none of you knew whether the baby was technically born from oscar’s or your dna, you knew you’d all love them just the same. the three of you had agreed to do a paternity test, purely for the sake of being able to give the baby an accurate medical history. it didn’t matter to you otherwise.

“you’ll be back next year,” you assured logan. a little smile appeared on your face when you imagined the baby growing up in the paddock. “with baby in a cute little ferrari onesie, yes?”

“ah, you mean a mclaren onesie!” oscar retorted with a grin.

logan laughed. he loved how both of you could always put him at ease. “you’re both wrong. i’m doing the work, therefore baby gets put in a williams onesie.”

you and oscar grumbled halfheartedly but didn’t argue. it was true, after all. logan was doing most of the work to let the three of you become dads.

logan smirked slightly and glanced down at his little bump. it seemed to have appeared overnight—one day he just looked a little bloated, the next he was very obviously pregnant. “that’s cute.”

“can’t wait to see what they’ll think of baby piastri-sargeant-l/n,” you mused. one hand rested on logan’s belly, you grinned at oscar. “think we’ve done some pretty good work here, don’t you, osc?”

oscar nodded seriously in agreement, his grin accompanied by a teasing kiss to logan’s jaw. “got our boy all locked down.”

“oh, please, i was locked down ages ago.” logan rolled his eyes lightheartedly. “you think it’s time to tell them?”

“i call dibs!”

oscar gaped at you indignantly. “wha—you can’t call dibs on posting about our baby!”

“uh, sure i can,” you replied cheekily. “i think i just did.”

charles leclerc:

you were lounging on the bed while waiting for charles, your boyfriend, to finish the post-race debrief with ferrari. it didn’t usually take long. even if it did, the hotels f1 drivers stayed at were ridiculously comfortable—it didn’t make you eager to go back to your little apartment.

finally, you heard the beeping of the door signaling that it had been unlocked.

“hey baby!” you called out from the bed.

charles appeared around the corner with a grin. before you knew it, he’d jumped onto the bed and assumed his usual position curled up with you.

“hello.” he giggled, swatting at your phone to get you to pay attention to him properly. “i forgot to do my shot this morning. wanna help me?”

you let out a half-assed indignant noise when charles swatted at your phone. almost like second nature, one of your arms wrapped around his shoulders and you kissed his forehead. “nah, i’m good tonight. you remember where it’s packed?”

charles’ grin faltered slightly.

it wasn’t that he was scared to do his own shot. no, not at all! that would be silly.

... but, yeah, he was a lot less nervous when you did it for him.

“oh,” he murmured, reluctantly sitting up by himself. charles glanced at you again with a pout. “please?”

that got your attention. it became pretty clear that your boyfriend hadn’t really been asking if you wanted to help him, but if you were willing to help him. and that answer would always, always be ‘yes’.

“my bad, baby, i thought you meant that protein milkshake-shot thing,” you said. both of you knew it was a lie. neither of you cared. not when charles beamed at you like that. “i definitely need to help you with your t shot. for ... science?”

“for science,” charles agreed.

“for science.”

franco colapinto:

“amor?” your boyfriend stuck his head around the bathroom door. “do you wanna help me?”

it was his very first t shot as a formula one driver. sure, franco had been on t for a while, but he had to stop for a few months because the fia had to ‘reassess whether it was appropriate’ for him to take it after williams signed him. and in the few weeks he’d been off it, well ... he’d kind of built up how much the needle would hurt more than he usually got to between doses.

you looked at him in mild amusement. “are you scared, franquito?”

“... no.”

“oh, alright. i’m good, then. i’ll just be here reading if you need me,” you answered teasingly.

it was pretty obvious—to you, at least—that franco was scared about giving himself the shot. he always was. every week he’d insist that he would do the next one by himself. but every ‘next time’ he’d end up asking (or begging, if you were feeling mean) you to help him.

franco groaned, emerging from the bathroom and slumping down next to you on the sofa. “porfa, mi amor, necesito tu ayuda. lo sabes.” {“please, my love, i need your help. you know.”}

“you know you can do it yourself, yes?” you asked softly, hearing him whine and hide his face in your shoulder. “okay, okay! i’ll help you. big baby.”

“i am not a baby!” franco protested halfheartedly.

“mm, yeah you are.”

“yeah, i am.”

kimi raikkonen:

“hey.”

you looked up from the sink. kimi moved so quietly you never heard it when he woke up.

“morning, love,” you murmured, kissing his cheek when he walked around the kitchen counter to stand beside you.

kimi hummed, a light pink tinting his cheeks. he was only ever like this you. and maybe seb, if he’d had enough drinks. but mostly you. “shot day.”

“monday already?” you asked with an easy smile. “i picked up your refill last week. should be in the cupboard in the bathroom.”

“it is,” kimi confirmed, looking at you expectantly.

finishing the last dish from last night’s dinner, you stacked in the drying rack and dried your hands before turning to face your boyfriend properly. “what’s that look for?”

kimi frowned. to most people, anything other than unadulterated joy was pretty indistinguishable on his face. to you, however, it was easy to see the little differences in his expressions.

“why are you in the kitchen?” he asked, as if that was enough to let you know why he was frowning.

“i was doing the dishes ...?”

“but it’s monday.”

you paused. what could possibly be the correlation between mondays and kimi’s distaste for you being in the kitchen?

and then it clicked.

“you want me to come do your shot for you?”

kimi nodded, clearly pleased with himself for getting you to understand without actually having to say it.

“you can just ask, y’know.” you chuckled. “c’mon, iceman.”

this time, the colour on kimi’s cheeks wasn’t just a tinge of pink.

oscar piastri:

“babe, have you seen my shot stuff?” oscar yelled.

the two of you had just finished moving to monaco, so everything was still a little ... messy. to be fair, with oscar, it was usually messy. now it was just more messy.

“in the cabinet under the sink!” you called back, staring at the wall of boxes you had accidentally created, which made it somewhat difficult to get to the bed. “i put that blue tape stuff on the box!”

oscar shouted back a sort of muffled noise of acknowledgement, rifling through the yet-to-be organized cabinet in search of the little bottles of testosterone and the syringes.

“aha!” he mumbled triumphantly. the supplies lined up next to the basin, oscar sat on the closed toilet lid. “okay, i’m ready!”

you gave back a half-distracted congratulations. it probably should’ve, but it didn’t occur to you that that was oscar’s way of trying to get you to help him. not that he was scared. no, he just ... wanted to spend time with you. while you were effectively stabbing him. yeah, that was it. totally not scared.

“babe?”

oscar poked his head into the bedroom to see you staring at the wall of boxes with your hands on your hips. he rolled his eyes lightheartedly and walked over to you, wrapping his arms around you from behind and resting his forehead on your back.

“um, hello?” he teased, poking your stomach playfully. “you are slacking on your boyfriend duties, mister.”

you gasped over-dramatically, turning in oscar’s grip to look at him with a scandalised expression. “lies! slander! dishonor on you! dishonor on your cow!”

oscar groaned with a laugh. he started subtly dragging you down the hallway towards the bathroom.

“dishonor on your cow!” oscar returned, watching the gears turn in your head and finally click into place when you saw how he’d lined up his hrt supplies for you to help him with. “see? i told you you were slacking.”

you scoffed slightly and pushed him down onto the toilet seat gently. “well excuse me for trying to find a way for us to sleep tonight.”

“you’re excused,” oscar said cheekily, pulling up the hem of his shorts so you had access to his leg.

“brat.” you grabbed the sanitiser wipes and, as always, got distracted by oscar’s thighs. “damn, baby.”

oscar blushed. it only got deeper when you leaned down to press kisses to his inner thighs as you always did before wiping down the injection site to make sure it was clean.

“why are you still so surprised every time you see them,” he grumbled. “you see them, like, all the time.”

you shrugged, grinning at him as you got the syringe ready and wiped down the injection site. “what can i say? you’re too hot to get used to. whenever i see any part of you you always look better than i remember.”

“sap.”

“yeah, whatever.” you pinched his other thigh gently. “deep breath.”

oscar inhaled.

jenson knew you were shaving. with summer just around the corner, your beard was getting a little too hot for comfort. your baby wasn’t yet a year old. for most, if not all, of their short little life, you’d had a full set of facial hair. they had only really learned how to recognise your face with a beard.

so, when you shaved, it was a little confusing for your bub.

seeing your baby for the first time in the morning was something you were cautiously optimistic for. you’d seen the many videos online of dads shaving and then having their babies not recognise them. you had braced yourself for a bad reaction. you just hadn’t quite braced yourself enough. you had expected a bit of uncertainty and maybe a little crying, because your baby was (generally) pretty friendly.

except that wasn’t what happened. they saw you without a beard for the first time, took a few seconds to process, and then started scream-crying. just what you wanted first thing in the morning. jenson came barrelling into the room seconds later. it only took a moment before he burst out laughing because he realised that the baby was only crying because of your (lack of a) beard.

“so helpful, jense, thank you,” you muttered sarcastically and crouched down in front of your baby’s crib. softening your voice to a coo, you poked just one finger through the bars for the baby to see. “it’s okay, little one. still daddy, just … without the itchy hair.”

“you’re welcome, love!”

jenson’s cheerful comment was followed by him crouching beside you and leaning into your side. “all good, bub. see?”

turning his head, jenson gave you an over-dramatised kiss—complete with a loud mwah! sound—to show your baby that you were the same person. of the two of you, jenson had definitely cornered the “dad jokes” part of fatherhood. it wasn’t that you never told any. he just insisted on saying them all. the. time. which included big overdramatic kisses for you and baby, and only you and baby.

your baby looked between the two of you for another second. you could practically see the gears turning in their little head before they finally stopped crying. quiet sniffles and hiccups filled the silence of the nursery as you stood up and lifted your now-relaxed baby into your arms.

“see? still me,” you murmured, pulling a funny face as both your baby and your husband giggled.

kimi raikkonen:

kimi woke up to crying.

in the last six months or so, that had become the norm. days where he woke up before the baby were few and far between but oh so sweet. a tired grumble later, he was up and trudging down the hall to the nursery. kimi smiled slightly when he heard your voice mixed with the baby’s crying. usually, a couple lines of a lullaby from you and your baby would be blinking sleepily. not today.

“morning, love.”

your voice was mildly stressed, surprising kimi. though not as much as he was about to be. you turned around. suddenly, the reason for the baby’s crying became quite clear to your husband.

“you shaved,” he said bluntly.

“i did.”

“baby doesn’t like it.”

a quiet huff and a roll of your eyes as you bounced the distressed infant helplessly. “you don’t say.”

kimi reached forward and took the baby out of your arms, pausing quickly to blow a raspberry on their tummy before settling them on his hip. he helped their little arm point at you with a small smile. “who’s that?”

your baby's cries quieted once they were in the arms of someone they recognised. they looked at you cautiously. it broke your heart, seeing your own child looking at you like you were a stranger, but you understood. they were too young to appreciate the subtler differences in people’s faces, so your beard had been a defining feature. now that it was gone, they may as well have never seen you before.

“that’s daddy,” kimi supplied, still helping the baby point at you.

your baby seemed to recognise the title and looked around hopefully. when kimi guided them back to you, they shook their little head and started crying again.

“no, baby, it’s okay,” you murmured, still keeping your distance so as not to spook the little one. “daddy, see?”

grabbing a nearby blanket, you lifted it to cover your mouth and nose. it was a familiar sight for the baby after many months of peek-a-boo. once they recognised the top part of your face, you slowly lowered the cloth. no sudden movements. dropping it too quickly would just make the baby—who had yet to understand the concept of object permanence—think their daddy had disappeared and been replaced by the same scary stranger. by lowering it slowly and allowing your baby to slowly add your now-clean shaven features to what they associated with you, the crying came to a slow stop.

kimi was rather amused by the whole display. on the one hand, it was sweet how far you were going to keep your baby comfortable. on the other, it was somewhat hilarious to see a grown man slowly revealing his face from behind a baby blanket.

“there we go, huh?” you smiled, tickling the baby’s tummy once they would finally let you get closer without screaming. “still daddy. promise.”

sebastian had been complaining about your facial hair for weeks. sure, it was hot and you looked great, but he was getting sick of rashes on his face (and his thighs). so, you finally decided to get rid of it. the only problem was that neither of you had considered how your baby would react. at eight months old, they weren’t quite at the point of recognises faces with slightly altered features. they’d still get a little confused when they saw you or seb with sunglasses or a mask.

you’d had your beard for their whole short life—literally, you’d stopped shaving after they were born—so it was understandable that the change was quite a shock for them.

your husband knew you had shaved the night before. of course he did. seb had insisted on sitting on the bathroom counter and shaving your beard himself. he claimed he was just making sure you really did get rid of it. you knew it was just an excuse for him to kiss you and touch your face a lot without feeling parent guilt. still, you didn’t argue or correct him. you’d take whatever quiet time you could get together.

all of this to say that, when he awoke to your baby’s cries and your distressed voice trying to comfort them, it took a total of three seconds before seb understood. instead of helping, he just laughed. it wasn’t deliberate. he didn’t like that either you or your baby were upset. it was just funny to him that both of you had somehow forgotten to consider how your child would feel about the change. if they were anything like either of you, you probably could’ve guessed that the answer would be: not well.

“stop laughing!” you called out, already carrying your baby down the hallway to the bedroom you shared with seb. “this is not funny!”

seb sighed and wiped the tears of mirth out of the corners of his eyes. when you appeared in the doorway, holding a baby who very clearly didn’t want to be held by you, it took all of his willpower not to burst out laughing again.

“oh, i’m sorry, maus,” seb cooed, taking the infant out of your arms and bouncing them gently. momentarily, you were distracted by the movement of his hips. “does daddy look different?”

“it’s papa’s fault!”

“it is not!” seb gasped dramatically. “lies and slander.”

“you were the one who demanded that i shave and now our baby hates me.”

in that moment, seb seemed to realise how much of a toll the situation was taking on you. your hand raked through and tugged at your hair, making you look even more dishevelled, and the signature first-time-parent dark circles under your eyes seemed more and more prominent by the minute. it wasn’t hard to see how having your own child not recognise you would be … well, somewhat stressful.

“hey, maus, it’s okay.” seb slowly walked closer to you before leaning forward and kissing your cheek. the way he did it was overdramatised to make sure the baby would catch every movement. “it’s your daddy, yes?”

after a few more tries, your little maus had calmed down enough to let you hold them again. unsurprisingly, crying so much so early in the morning had been quite tiring, and they promptly fell asleep in your arms.

smiling softly, you kissed seb’s forehead. “thank you.”
