HYDRATING WITH NOT JUST WATER by @charissa_and_co_wellness ——————————————————— It is definitely key to keep yourself hydrated, not only to make sure you’re not thirsty but also in restoring moisture back into the body, when you hydrate your body, you ensure not only that you are energized, but by hydrating you will keep your mind clear and active throughout the day. ——————————————————— You are constantly losing water, this can primarily be via urine and sweat. Therefore to prevent dehydration, we all need to drink adequate amounts of water. ——————————————————— How much is an adequate amount? ——————————————————— There are many different opinions on how much water you should be drinking every day. They typically cause a lower, slower rise in blood glucose therefore usually, insulin levels. ——————————————————— Let’s look at Hydration along with Pomegranate, simple yet effective ways to hydrate the body, along with adding some nutrients into your hydrating drink is key. ——————————————————— This versatility that the pomegranate fruit has provides important vitamins and minerals and can also boost your fiber intake. Pomegranate calories and carb counts vary slightly depending on the fruit that you buy. ——————————————————— Usually the pomegranate fruit is based around the lower GI fruit, hence why it is one of my ideal ingredients to add to my flavoured water. ——————————————————— Pomegranate provides a small amount of protein.
