i’m happy that Hyeondo broke away from his ex after realizing he was being used and mistreated. the character development is great! BUT, he still needs to work on his tendency to people-please.

for example, when he was willing to not promote his restaurant on television if that meant making Yumin happy, this reaction shows 1) he hasn’t learned that overly devoting yourself to someone is harmful, and 2) his time with Sojeong really did on number on his mindset. even after everything he went through, he’s still willing to conceal himself from the public if his lover asked him to.

i’m just so worried! i can’t wait to see how this trait slowly dissolves once being with Yumin
