My Kaveh Team

It's almost complete. Shinobu still needs work, as you can see, and Kaveh is THIS 👌 close to being triple crowned. As he should be.

Taking a 2nd look at it, it's really not that special. It's just that Alhaitham's not the main DPS and Yaoyao/Nahida aren't available to me. (The metaslaves can stay mad. I kid you not, someone got heated when I said Kaveh was the DPS. 😳) Alhaitham is just there to support his husband, ty. 💅

There was also this glich on my laptop a few weeks ago on the team build screen. I was working on Kaveh, looked away for a second, and Alhaitham snuck onto the screen, staring at me like he wanted an apology (when it would normally zoom in on one character). 😭

I do have Yaoyao. But I would only build her to support the Kaveh mains in coop out of spite for anyone who complained about me about using Alhaitham as a support. If you switch to any other Dendro DPS, I'm switching back to Ayato.

My Hyperbloom team, that usually gets the meta-slaves to pull their hair out.

Honestly, when was the last time I vented about this—I don't remember. I'm a little sad that Dendro fell off for a bit, but I'm still in the building.

Kaveh: "Ultimate Overlord's Mega Magic Sword" & Emblem of Severed Fate x4

Xingqiu: Sapwood Blade & Deepwood Forest x4

Shinobu: Sacrificial Sword & Gilded Dreams x4

They hate to see me rolling in with the "Mayonnaise on a CPU" team because Kaveh and Al Haitham don't ✨️synergize✨️. But have any of you considered building characters outside of their common builds. "That ignores his whole kit— 😡😡" I don't care. Try being creative. They're both Dendro units that activate the Elemental Resonance effect, Sprawling Greenery.

Don't attack me when you want to flaunt your Kaveh as "special" because you gave him Ocean-Hued Clamx4 & Sacrificial Greatsword. 🙄 AND THEN, tell me I'm building my characters "wrong." Fucking hypocrites.

Build the characters you love whichever you want. You'd think that'd be common sense, but people are sheep.

Not much has changed, but I think I'll try to get more copies of Sac. Greatsword to replace the Melusine claymore, so I can cut Kaveh's skill CD time. And Shinobu needs a new goblet; I gave her an HP% goblet to help with healing because I couldn't get another EM artifact.

I made my Kaveh+Alhaitham work by making Kaveh a "battery." He has the highest ER here with over 200%. Xingqiu is holding the Deepwood set for Dendro res shredding. I have brought them to the Spiral Abyss and gotten through F12Ch3 when I was still actively playing.

I finally got Haran from the Inazuma Chronicle wish banner. It's only R3, and strangely, I didn't lose a 50/50. It’s a little sus, but I guess Ayato came through for me. Also, changed my in-game user name to the katakana of "Poseidon." ♡ It looks like my JJBA era has come to an end.

It's always a water themed character that becomes my main. 🤔 Not that I'm upset about it.

I'm not asking for build advice. There are no question marks in this post. I'm just sharing.

I'm having fun with these types of blogs.

Tell me a team composition that you love, but would have meta players raving, flaming, and crucifying you for.

For this blog, I define "meta" as the "most effective tactic available." In Genshin's case, ways to clear Abyss with 36 stars the fastest way possible and teams that cause the most damage. These teams are often repetitive across accounts, such as Raiden National (Raiden, Xingqiu, Bennet, and Xiangling) or Morgana (Ganyu, Mona, Diona, and Venti).

Much like my previous blog, I will not reply back to any comments. My purpose for this blog is to learn how others have fun with their Genshin teams.

This is a free/"safe" space to rant, but remain courteous and respectful in the comments section to others and me. Please. I will not tolerate anyone who wants to have an argument, be a snarky bitch, or give unsolicited "advice." I will block those involved.

Old photo, Shinobu is now lvl 90. Anyway, my Kavetham team is the one I get the most backlash for. While it does have meta qualities, Xingqiu + Kuki + Dendro = Hyperbloom, the metaslaves cry so hard that I put the Kaveh and Alhaitham together.

"Kaveh and Alhaitham don't work together."

"They have no "synergy.""

"That's not enough dendro application."

"They're like lathering mayonnaise onto a CPU."

No. They're not "mayonnaise" and a "CPU" or water and oil. They are two Dendro units that provide dendro resonance, can be major powerhouses alone, but even more dangerous together.

I made it work.

Kaveh made it to Abyss floor 11, chamber 3. If they were all fully built, they would be MENACES. The best built is Kaveh at C2R5, Talents 6/7/9, artifacts lvl 20. Everyone else is still a WIP, low talent levels, artifacts lvl 0-5, and weapons lvl 20-80.

My rotation:

¹ Alhaitham's skill and burst (or just skill, if his burst isn't up)

² Xingqiu's skill or burst for hydro application

³ Kaveh's burst and skill to detonate the cores and apply more dendro

⚡️ Shinobu is there to be the responsible one(/hj, the healer) that makes sure the boys don't get killed and she applies quickening and hyperbloom. Kaveh is more or less self-sufficient with his passive and can keep himself alive.

Although Kaveh is my dendro main, I switch between Kaveh and Alhaitham as I see fit. To make it less meta, Xingqiu and Shinobu can actually be replaced with double hydro (ex. Mona and Barbara) or Hydro+Zhongli, because gods forbid Alhaitham takes damage from his own cores.

It works if you rotate it right, but no one wants to put in the extra work to figure it out. The meta creates a close-minded set of builds, and it's filled with people who just want those giant crit numbers. I don't deny the meta characters, teams, and builds do great damage, but the metaslaves so often claim their unwarranted "advice" is just "worry for the team's functionality," like "I asked if my Kaveh build was good, not if Kaveh and Alhaitham had "synergy."

On a silly little note, I have decided to build DPS Noelle and QiQi, both characters that have been tossed aside by the meta. I'm so excited to build them.

I've asked this on Hoyolab a few times in BottleMi but the response was tepid. Only 3 brave souls decided to share their thoughts. I saw two teams of full DPS units and a Yoimiya main who said "any Yoimiya team" (they didn't elaborate further).

✨ Kuki Shinobu Hyperbloom Build ✨

👽 I still remember the moment when Kuki was first introduced to the game. She was trashed by almost everyone and people only recognized her as "the electro healer". Little did we know, she was gonna be one of the most sought after electro character later. I gotta admit that the existence of dendro element in the game does save her a lot. Now we understand why her kit is made the way it is, with her having EM scaling in her damage and healing properties.

👽 In this post I will break down my Kuki Shinobu build as the electro applier in hyperbloom team!

👽 Disclaimer: This build is not perfect and by no means should be treated as a rigid rule. I just share what I have tested in game and what I know works for me. So always do your own research and take my guide with that note in mind!

Artifact Sets

👽 As the sole trigger of the hyperbloom reaction, Kuki has to have as much EM as she can. So any EM set artifacts will do. I personally run her with 4 Gilded just because I have a lot left from farming in that domain for my other dendro characters. Here are some option you can use:

4 pc Gilded Dreams

2 pc Gilded 2 pc Wanderer

4 pc Flower of Lost Paradise

👽 Like I said, as Kuki is gonna be the trigger for the hyperbloom reaction, you only need to focus on EM stats, and maybe a little energy recharge eventhough you won't need it much since she can easily apply electro through her skill.

Team Composition

👽 When running hyperbloom team, I prefer Kuki to be the only electro in the team so the reaction won't be stolen by another electro. 2 dendro units in the team helps add 50 EM from the dendro resonance but if you like you can always bring a shielder or crowd control unit instead of another dendro.

Talents Priority

👽 Since hyperbloom reaction is considered transformative damage, you don't necessarily have to level up her talents. I do level up her skill solely for the healing only.

👽 Instead of focusing on her talent levels, Kuki herself has to be at level 90 to make sure the hyperbloom damage is maximized.

Weapon Choices

👽 Any EM weapon will do her good. Here are some options:

Xiphos' Moonlight (helps with your team's ER needs)

Iron Sting (easy access cuz it's craftable)

Toukabou Shigure (very good against solo enemies but this is event limited weapon)

👽 You can, if you want, put Freedom Sworn on her but that's too high of an investment for Kuki as she can still excel even while using 4* weapons.
