Honestly I don’t remember shit about dick and I had to go back and read the entire chapter because i am THAT AWFUL but then i remembered i actually made a slapdash sketch of mikasa’s outfit in that scene right here!

but imma be real, i wanna stress that what i drew doesn’t matter. if you have a different idea or want to work something else into your own interpretation, go for it! I’d love to see what you come up with as well. I didn’t really describe her outfit in that scene as anything other than white, so as far as I’m concerned you have complete artistic freedom :)

I wouldn't say it's super obvious. like, for some people the disparity might not be that noticeable but I guess I was kind of looking for it? it's something I was consciously trying to pay attention to so of course it was clearer but I don't think it's a bad thing. it's not like there's a clear cut point either, it's very gradual

so. the new SB chapter put me in the mood for rereading the whole thing (as I do every new chapter, I've come to realise lmao) and like. it's really interesting bc I can see how your writing has improved within the same work? like. you write fight scenes better, your characterisation has improved, interactions feel more genuine and realistic. it's really interesting to see and you should definitely be proud of yourself tbh

thANK YOU!! It’s been, like, three years so I damn well hope something’s gotten better but I’m really glad the improvement has been so obvious? I mean to think it’s something clear if you just sit down and look it all over. On one hand I’m pissed off because now I hate that there is a noticeable disparity in quality, but on the other I guess it’s wicked that you can see the way stuff has improved over time, i mean, how many mediums show that over such a time lapse? 

Thank you, Hyper :) I’m happy to hear that. I know my writing has improved since An Unlikely Alliance (ugh) but I guess it’s harder to see that when I’m still going with SB and it feels like I’m just churning out the same stuff.

Kottu roti is my FAVE Lankan dish its te SHIT. What it is is essentially a stir fry of vegetables, egg, shredded roti canai/paratha, herbs, and curried beef/lamb and it is fucking SPLENDID let me tell u!

It has quite a bit of meal prep but once you have what u need you just gotta chuck it in the pan and DICE/CHOP/STIR THAT SHIT Here’s a recipe link (Worcestershire sauce optional--honestly what the fuck, Sir) and I prefer lamb rather than chicken in my kotthu, but otherwise that’s a solid recipe. GOOD SHIT!! You can find plenty of prep walk throughs on youube too, but yeah.
