#FrequentlyAskedFridays Here is today's #faf question: Will I get bigger muscles if I lift heavier weights? A. If you train intensely with weights for 60 minutes or more and you're a male B. Only if you take muscle building supplements, such as protein powders C. If you eat lots of meat and plant-based protein and you train intensely with heavy lifting D. Yes for both genders. Eating a balance diet of carbs, fats and protein helps build muscle. High intensity and lifting heavy wights helps, but may take more time if you're not predisposed to acquire larger muscles. And here is the answer to last week's question: I've been so good about following a healthy and balanced diet, how can I make sure I keep that up through my upcoming birthday weekend bash? Or the Labor Day BBQs? Or even the holidays at the end of the year? I am already stressing about it. D. You should think of eating healthy as a way of life so even on special occasions, like your birthday, you can make better choices even if you decide to "splurge" a bit.
