so guess who finally was finished after five months. I'm likely going to change a few things going forward from here, but the Hysminai project is officially finished. This shows her as is. Any changes being done will be casual. She's a 6BO, 5 rare slot, basically a custom raffle lioness, unholy. Also a G1 corrupted or whatever but that's not as important. She changed a lot from her first concept but I could not be happier. If you want to stud, she's on 187711
In Greek mythology, the Hysminai were the personified spirits (daimones) of fighting and combat. The Hysminai were spirits of non-martial combat such as fist-fights, punch-ups and armed street-fights. Some poets have the Hysminiai attendant on the battlefield.
almost halfway there for the hysminai project! The two rarest slots of my project, Tan Crumbing and Bone Soft Unders, are on! Currently working on breeding the mane on my eye + skin breeders, which will then be bred to the final marking hys. Final version under the current step, im still debating between unholy and ebony.
The Divine Prophet Hysminai graces you with her presence. Worry not, for she is here to relieve you of your pride’s struggles.
The spirits have chosen you, young leader. Will you oblige?
okay okay dramatic lore aside, this is my side queen plans! 5BO Ebony, with four rare slots. Sectoral Ice & Green eyes, and clouded skin! I’m debating on keeping the name Hysminai or not, because I genuinely love it, but also, Hysminai has been a Sahara, Stratosphere, Ornament, Fossil, and Onyx as of now. this is my final king design unless I buy a raffle lioness and clone her, though.
Okay, so this isn’t Inanna’s introductory lore post. Well, it kind of is. It’s both her introductory one and the explanation behind Ashvin and V’kai raising Rosalind. Also, the reveal of the lore story’s big bad.
“And remember, my darling,” Orriande whispered, holding his sulking daughter’s face with his paw, “You must be willing to do whatever it takes to stamp out weakness. I hope today’s demonstration made you realize that.”
She thinks back to watching her brother groan in the dirt, blood covering his face, and nods. “Yes, father. I understand.”

This dinner was tense, Inanna decided. She had barely even touched her portion of the cow she was given, instead watching the other lioness who was digging in. As she was about to stop, the lioness looked up. “Is the cow not satisfactory? I can bring you something else.”
“It’s... it’s fine.” Her voice is razor thin, and she tries to look anywhere else but the lioness in front of her.
The lioness grins. “It’s from some of the best huntresses in the world, Princess. They remind me of the lionesses from your pride, actually.” The words were not in the least bit comforting, but Inanna was quick to realize they weren’t meant to be. “A shame that pride fell...”
It brought a sick feeling to Inanna’s stomach, and the tigon pushed away her meal. “Why are you doing this?” Her face is twisted in anger. “What do you have to gain?”
“What do I have to gain?” The way she says it is numb, almost like she has never thought about the answer to that question before. “More territory? A prosperous pride? The truth, Inanna, is I have little to gain from your pride that I don’t already have.” She raises to her paws, crossing the small gap, and standing over Inanna. “But you... you fascinate me. You were your father’s clear favorite, the heir apparent, and you let Ashvin take the throne. Inanna, imagine what a pride under your paws could do. It would be unbeatable.”
Inanna stares straight ahead, careful not to make eye contact. “I’m not one for diplomacy. He is.”
“That explains the scars, then.” The lioness’s tone is cold and neutral, but it doesn’t stop the creeping feeling of fear. “Orriande was never one for for anything but brute strength. I suppose you have that in droves. All brawn, and no brains?”
There’s no answer. Inanna bites her lip, swallowing. “I wonder how quickly he’ll fold. I heard there’s a new niece... or should I go for the boyfriend?” The threat, both at Rosalind and V’kai, brought forth a boldness Inanna didn’t know she had.
“What do you want from me?” Inanna finally manages, her voice a weak croak. “It has to be something.”
“I want you in my pride. No strings attached, I’m not one for a lioness. But we could do so much more with someone like you training our teams, leading our attacks.” She sits down, staring down into Inanna’s eyes. “You could be what your father wanted you to be.”
She looks away, turning to the treeline, seeing lions lined up. She wasn’t leaving here. Not without her. “Okay,” She whispered, “On one condition.”
“Whatever you wish for,” The lioness speaks, earnest.
“My brother, my daughter- you won’t touch them. If you do... I’ll kill you.” It was an empty threat. Inanna knew that before she could even leap forward, one of the lioness’s guards would tackle her and gore her on the ground. “Promise me you’ll leave my brother alone.”
The lioness grins, raising back to her full height. “My dear, you have my word. As long as you serve me, your brother will make it out of this alive.”
“You have to be stronger than the others, be willing to do whatever it takes to keep your pride, your family, safe.”
