Gentle. It’s the best way Youngjae can describe him. He’s always been so loving and gentle. Maybe it’s that Himchan just knows so much about him that he would never tell the rest of the world, but there’s never been a time where Youngjae’s known this man where he’s ever felt in danger, or like the other was going to hurt him. Well, at least, if you don’t count when they met, because Youngjae’s afraid of everyone on first meeting.Either way, he’s always considered his favorite Hyung equivalent to one of those gigantic teddy bears you only see rarely strapped to the top of a car and slowly consuming the whole thing. He’s big, fluffy, warm, and snuggly, and that’s just what Youngjae likes. He’s always had a way of speaking to Youngjae that’s been gentle and kind, and his touches are soft and caring, motherly even, he would say.So even though he’s not expecting it, when Himchan lifts Youngjae off the ground and gently over his shoulder, Youngjae is already immediately comfortable and snuggled right in. A curious little, “What’re you doin’, Hyunggie..?” comes out of him, and he settles himself to being perfectly content in the warm, strong arms of his one and only favorite Kim Himchan.Sure, he doesn’t know what’s going on, but despite his curiosity Youngjae finds that it doesn’t really matter. If this is some new form of cuddle session Youngjae’s down for it. If he’s being taken somewhere, which he very pointedly is by the way Himchan’s feet are moving, then no matter where they go Youngjae knows he’ll be safe. He’s in the grasp of someone he loves, the only person he can truly say he’d trust his life to, so he’s comfortable.Anyone else might have him kicking and flailing in protest, but this? This is perfect. So Youngjae makes a cute little noise and hums as he squishes his cheek down against some surface that he can only assume is Himchan, sighing contently as he lets the older take him to whatever destination he chooses. And for once, Youngjae isn’t afraid of anything. He’s just happy.
