a week after the incident of yeonjun making out with hana and jumping into your bed later the same night, things seemed to be back to normal, or so that’s what you thought. you and the boys walked around the boardwalk, enjoying ice cream, fried chicken and rollercoaster rides that scattered the area. after a certain rollercoaster, you became sick and told the boys to enjoy the main ride that they were looking forward to without you. they reluctantly agreed and went to stand in line as you sat on a nearby bench to wait for them. thirty minutes go by and the riders come through the exit, you spot yeonjun and beomgyu from a distant and stood up to walk toward them when you spot the two girls from last week. frowning, you walk up to the boys and begin to ask them about the ride and how they enjoyed it. the boys went on talking about the ride and their favorite parts. you smile at them and become happy watching them talking about how excited this ride made them.
“do you want to head back to the house and go to the beach?”. beomgyu asks, you nod your head and make your way to the car when you realized they had stopped walking when you got to the passenger’s side door.
“please gyu! can we go with you?” daeun pouts, beomgyu was beginning to look uncomfortable, but as soon as hana started begging yeonjun. beomgyu groans and yells at them to stop.

“lets ask y/n first,” he says. the girls frown, but immediately have a plan to make her say yes. they group get to the car and see y/n already in the car, daeun frowns as she wanted to be in the front with beomgyu. they all hop inside the car, and immediately beomgyu grabs your hand, “y/n, my beloved bestest friend,” you look at him with an annoyed look, “what gyu?” you say already knowing what he is about to ask.
“can daeun and hana join us today?” he says, you turn toward the girls who were smiling at you with their arms crossed, “fine whatever, it’s not like i had a choice anyways considering they just jumped into your car,” you cross your arms.
“thank you y/n! invite that one guy you were talking to that one day!” daeun says smiling. you shrug your shoulders and slouch in the seat, texting hyunjun.
you smile at his response and put your phone down, looking out the window. beomgyu looked over at you and smiled then turned his focus back into the road. once you get back to the house, you get out of the car and make your way toward your room to change. you put on a pale pink bikini with a white lace cover-up and some sandals to match, you admired yourself in the mirror until someone bust through your door. you gave the person wide eyes and nearly screamed your head off out of fear.
“what the actual fuck!” you yell at daeun, she laughs the incident off before becoming serious.
“i love the swimsuit, y/n” daeun says as she slowly walks up to you, backing up into the dresser she smirks at you.
“what do you want daeun?” you say annoyed at her for being in your personal bubble. she laughs then responds, “oh poor y/n, maybe we should be friends since the boys will eventually be mine and hana’s boyfriends. you know? since you’ll be all alone once we take them from you,” she laughs.
“yah. i don’t befriend girls who degrade other girls for their own entertainment because they’re so insecure of themselves,” you say pushing her away from you and walking to the kitchen where yeonjun sat on the counter playing a game. you sat beside him to watch what he was playing until beomgyu walks into the living room screaming, “lets go to the beach bitches!”
the five of you get down to the beach and set your stuff down. you spot hyunjun walking toward you and smile brightly.
“hello there pretty girl,” he says giving you a big hug, at this moment everything felt like it had stopped, until you hear someone clear their throat. you both pull away to turn at the four people standing behind you.
“i’m beomgyu and this is yeonjun, nice to meet you,” beomgyu says and lowly smiles. the girls shook their heads with a scowl and grab yeonjun and beomgyu to the beach. you laugh at them and hyunjun shook his head.
“are those girls always that needy for attention?” he asks, you vigorously shook your head and laugh. he laughs along with you until he felt a hand on his shoulder, turning around he sees eric and juyeon.
“bro you totally dipped out on us!” eric whines until he sees your figure. he straightens up and tries to act like he totally didn’t just whine toward hyunjun.
“what’s up, i’m eric,” he says with a makeshift cool voice, “i’m y/n,” you laugh, “and i’m juyeon, and i see you’re the lovely lady that our dear hyunjun keeps talking about,” he says and you look up at hyunjun who has pink dusting his cheeks as he slapped the boys to shut up. you coo at him and pinch his cheeks, he rolls his eyes and then declares we head out to the water. back on the beach, beomgyu and yeonjun see the entire interaction and scowl, after all they are possessive over you and hate when you give other men the same affection and attention that you give them.
after a few hours of swimming and watching the sunset, you and hyunjun sat on a blanket with towels wrapped around you, talking about things that came to your mind.
“hey y/n, the guys and i are throwing a party on the beach this weekend, i want you to come and you can even invite yeonjun and beomgyu if you’d like,” he smiles and looks at you.
“i’ll definitely will talk to them about that, thank you hyunjun,” you say.
after a few more minutes of chatting, you call it a night and begin to head back up to your houses. as soon as you walk in you hear bangs and squeaks coming from one of the rooms, you grimace at the sound and thought of your best friends sleeping with the girls. you go to your room to shower when you hear daeun scream and go into your room, crying. you give her a wide eyes, confused look before she lashes out on you.
“why the fuck does beomgyu have to choose someone like you over me?” she screams and slaps you. beomgyu pulls her off of you and shakes her, “what part of don’t disrespect my best friend do you not understand?” he yells. daeun sobs and pushes him off.
“have fun with him y/n, he’s not that great in bed,” daeun cries. you and beomgyu chase after her, and right before she reaches the door you snatch her back.
“ho you hear yourself? beomgyu doesn’t want you because all you do is disrespect me. all i do is mind my own business and you trash me for absolutely no reason. get your head out of your ass and grow up, daeun,” you say and then let her go. yeonjun and hana come out of his room asking what happened, after explaining to them what went down, yeonjun frowned and hana lashed out on you too.
“we have tried being your friend y/n but you refuse. i don’t know how the boys deal with your sorry ass,” hana yells. yeonjun finally speaks up after looking at beomgyu, “i think it’s best we don’t hang out anymore.”
hana looks at him in bewilderment and cries, “yeonjunnie, please don’t do this because of your sorry excuse for a friend,” she says.
“yeonjun, you don’t have to throw them away because of me, i’ll support whatever you do though,” you say in a low tone. beomgyu shakes his head in disagreement with you, “no y/n, you’re our best friend and whoever we date must respect you and understand that you’re stuck with us,” beomgyu says. you smile at them, but then turn to hana and daeun, “what are you still doing here? didn’t you hear them? now get out,” you say. they leave through the front door and slam it behind them, you shake your head and sit down on the couch. the boys came to sit beside you and tackled you in a hug.
“we love you y/n!” they both scream, making you laugh.

[3:40 PM] “Hey y/n?” You hummed in response to your boyfriend’s call, not bothering to lift your eyes from your textbook as you continued jotting down notes. “I think I’m in love with you.” Your head shot up, the force with which you were now gripping your pen causing it to jolt and create a streak of ink that would no doubt bother you immeasurably later. Hyunjun just smiled, the heat rushing to your face and through your ears symbolic of the blush that you were sure was now painting your cheeks to match his.
Hyunjun’s grin widened at the cute look on your face as you stared back at him, too flustered at the sudden confession to catch your breath. “I- I’m in love with you too.” You bit back your smile, your heart fluttering as Hyunjun simply returned his attention to his books.

if they do happen for some reason, he’d probably just need space
maybe just go and drive around or take a walk so he can think and he won’t say something he’ll regret
because while arguments don’t happen often at all, i think he’d definitely get pretty heated pretty quickly

You gazed lovingly down at the man with his head in your lap, his eyes fluttering shut as he fought to stay awake and spend as much time as possible with you on his day off. “Go ahead, go to sleep, love. Thank you for spending today with me, thank you for taking a rest.” You whispered.
