-Aldebaran: What’s something you care desperately about?
This is gonna sound weird, but music. I have music playing almost every minute of every day. I play it while I’m in the shower, I have a playlist for sleep, and the first thing I do when I wake up is change playlists. I would rather listen to music than watch tv. I am home by myself during the day and if the tv is ever on its on the music channels or spotify is on the xbox. I fucking love music…
-Canopus: Have you ever broken a bone?
Yup. I broke fingers and toes when I played basketball in high school. That shit sucked. I’ve had my ribs broken on several occasions and under less recreational circumstances. That shit really sucked.
Hydra: Favorite sound?
The sound of a thunderstorm. I mean a torrential downpour and thunder that rattles your windows thunderstorm. I lived in Arkansas for a long time (and if you didn’t grow up in the States that’s in the South), so most of the time a thunderstorm came with the possibility of a tornado…which was fucking terrifying. Now I live in Utah…which is a goddamn desert. Thunderstorms rarely happen so when they do I sit on the steps of my apartment and drink in the smell of the rain and the sound of the thunder. It makes my soul happy.
Since I also live in Utah…that eerie quiet as snow falls. Also a favorite. It’s beautiful and breathtaking. If there was a sound for peace that would be it.
