i find it really funny now i dont usually get into youtubers or bands the way that other people do because im aware of parasocial relationships and always feel disconnected. fast forward to a week ago im starting to get really attached to dream and his crew because i find his videos for fun and his relationship with george really relatable and his dynamic with everyone he collabs with so entertaining and i can feel myself marching the steps to dream standom. then he gets into a controversy and im not sure i feel like i know him anymore

It feels so corny sometimes to be sincerely distressed by American politics. Like I feel this reflexive embarrassment for even caring but like. This does impact people's personal lives. This impacts my personal life. Like there are people in my community who are going to face in uptick in harassment because of the aftermath of the election and i can't overstate how distressing it is.

I was sitting in class once and suddenly there was a scream coming from the hallway and everyone freaked out and came into the hall and some girl was freaking out because she dropped a tube of lipstick on the floor and it broke. Yes, this actually happened.

So people were getting really upset about Zayn leaving One Direction or whatever and I was saying how I didn't understand why everyone was like literally crying and my friend was like "Ok well what if Pete Wentz left Fall Out Boy" and I swear to God I started getting emotional.
