Sometimes I will see a post on youtube about re:zero and get reminded via blunt force trauma that the majority of the re:zero fanbase is in fact not a collective of queers like myself who (correctly) see Re:Zero as a show with a trans female protagonist so deep in the closet that it just at first seems like it's a guy.

Some people genuinely think Natsuki "Dropped out of high-school because he went as a girl for literally no fucking reason and got outed on day 3 which sent him spiralling" Subaru is a totally normal heterosexual man and it baffles me

something that really irritates me when talking to people that don’t know / like namor is that they treat me like i don’t know what kind of character namor is because i like him. like i haven’t watched every show appearance, played every game he’s ever been mentioned in, read hours upon hours upon hours of his comics and consumed a large portion of his very large pool of content. yes, i know who namor is. i know everything about him. i know the inner workings of his brain better than a lot of other people. i’m not stupid or less capable of consuming content because i like a character others don’t .
