Fujin was the one who failed! He never used the Jinsei on Sindel healing her wounds! I don't blame Liu since he's a novice or perhaps forgotten from his revenancy that Gods have the Jinsei, Earthrealm's sacred lifeforce, flow thru them! Not to mention Fujin failing to guard Shinnok's amulet and fall against Bi-Han! He was too hyper focused on "controlling" as in suppressing Liu's dark side instead of training and acting on it!! Missing the Jinsei during Sindel's fail was a MAJOR red flag!! This just screams hypocrisy!!

Remember, darkness is not evil but how you wield it is what dictates!!

the supernatural element is that he gets reincarnated as the man who is hanging by the ceiling nude in that hotel room. It's never explained and I have 300 questions about it but,
