So I think Troy doesn’t get much in the way of tattoos throughout his life. He definitely gets a cup after his first Stanley cup, probably with his number and the year, but it’s relatively minimalist and honestly he probably only got it bc the whole team was getting them. He didn’t really get the whole putting big ass piece of art on yourself that’s permanent (not that he’ll say this around Rozy, iykyk), but after the first one, he decides to get a minimalist pride flag. It’s just a thin line made of the colors. Nothing fancy. Maybe he adds the date for his coming out, and then the eventual date of his and Harris’s wedding, but I feel like that’s down the line, closer to retirement kinda deal. He doesn’t want to have to explain himself to fans or have fans speculate.

I think he would also get a wedding band tattooed because he doesn’t like the feel of the silicone bands and wearing his ring around a necklace for games or working out still doesn’t feel like enough.

He and Harris probably get Chiron’s paw print after he eventually passes.

I think Harris is more likely to get tattoos. Maybe he gets something to cover his surgery scar? I feel like people in his life would be like “nooo you’re perfect love yourself!” and Harris just goes “fuck you! I won’t and I don’t have to!” Bc he’s not obligated to love a physical reminder of a traumatic time.
