About Pelle's supposed frail health....
There's an old rumor that Pelle was born prematurely and that he suffered from seizures. I remember reading it long ago, it was written like an interview with him. I have no idea where it came from, and I didn't see the original zine, just someone "copying the text" onto FB. I vividly remember the description of him saying that he had a seizure and died and that he had to be resuscitated which they managed even though it is "hard to resuscitate prematurely born babies". This sentence is etched into my brain, there's no doubt I read it.
But was it true? It gnawed on me for years. I couldn't find the interview again, or the "original source" aka zine.
I ended up actually asking Pelle's brother if he maybe knows anything about it and he said he doesn't but that he can "ask his mother". I begged him not to, and this is still ridiculous to me to this day, but two weeks later he did ask her if Pelle was a preemie and she debunked it, saying he was full term baby and his brother and sister were premies 😂
So yea, it definitely isn't true, but in case anyone knows the source of this rumor, I would be grateful for the link or something. Most likely someone just faked the whole thing
