thinking more about this character! she lives in a endless desert world where dangerous sandfish are super common. human settlements exist almost exclusively on lakes where the sandfish cant get them though there are a few other places where people are safe to settle. her name is nu and shes a travelling "sailor". "sailors" are a kind of mage who can harness "the great breeze" to travel to desert on "sails" which are objects that they harness "the great breeze" through. their magic is pretty weak in terms of combat but has great utility. sailors are basically the only people who can travel the desert alone. most people have to travel in large heavily armed groups. nu is a wanderer who hunts, preps, preserves, and sells sandfish meat between towns. her dream is to find the sea which is a myth in this world.
idea for a multiplayer game where you play as one of several thieves after the same mark at the same time. different thieves would have radically different approaches. some would use disguises, some would sneak through shadows, etc. very lupin inspired. this is the "main" thief.

starting a new campaign and this is my character for it! lloyd blackwell! another halfling! hes a wizard focusing on illusions and stabbin'! he used to be an assassin but grew tired of that life so now hes a court wizard which he considers considerably more lax (until...?)
