it makes sense that Hades for his part is still with Minthe and hasn’t shaken her off in the proverbial sense because it sounds like they’ve been together for a pretty long time. there’s feelings there that you can’t change on whim just because you saw a pretty face who’s completely your type.
ahh yes just when i started feeling sorry for minthe she comes back with something vicious.
and here she is looking sorry that she just insulted hades’ old friend’s daughter who’s also a goddess.
imo right now minthe is the most interesting character, and i like that we see more of their relationship in this chapter. it seems like maybe minthe has some temper issues? hades seems pretty not-freaked out as he calms her down. i THINK the line “I thought we were doing so well” seems to indicate something about minthe’s past behaviors? maybe that’s also why he decided to propose to her at the party.
i mean they’re still a disaster couple. hades seem to be good for minthe (right now) in that he seems pretty good at calming her down, but minthe’s behavior obviously picks at hades’ fear about loneliness and not being deserving of happiness.
