The skizzleman apology is... interesting.
I'm not exactly happy with his understanding of the situation, but ig it's good that he's made progress? If that's what you call it?
He doesn't seem to understand that you can't apply the same standards as "irl friends" to "public relationships". Dude like no one cares if you have conservative friends, we all do to some extent. The issue is giving notoriously homophobic maga people power over a community of queer and especially trans people.
Like what were you thinking??
You can't use real life logic and translate it to curating public spaces. It's a whole another ball game.
Whether you like it or not, as a content creator and leader of a community you have a certain responsibility to the vulnerable ppl there that cannot be compared to real life relationships.
I know every action has it's equal opposite reaction but quite a few of the anti-Ai people are becoming as annoying as the the pro-Ai people. And before you can say we should piss on the poor, no I don't think being against Ai in creative spaces is the problem. I think that you should be upset about the negative effects that using Ai has, I think you should be angry at every company who endorses the new Ai features that are supposed to replace your brain cells and gather your personal information, I think you should be critical of individuals who openly endorse the use of generative Ai. What the problem is, is that people who are eagle eyed and ready to attack can often go after the wrong people.
A lot of this stems from people's idea of activism being finding the right people to hurt but that's another conversation entirely.
When people are looking so closely for Ai they might confuse something that's extremely polished or well edited as being Ai when it's very possible that the Ai was trained off of the real person's art/videos/writing etc. I don't think I need to tell you that making hurtful comments to real creators accusing them of Ai use that could be stealing from them is a bad thing to do.
And for the record if Ai images are used maybe use critical thinking and compassion when the person isn't openly endorsing it's use because it's a real possibility that they were looking for clip art and an Ai image was placed in a clip art library. And if I hear one more person say 'it's always obvious' or "it's obviously Ai" or something along those lines I'm gonna start fucking biting people. IT. IS. NOT. Nothing is obvious for starters but also I have been duped, your mother has been duped, maybe you have too, god knows with Sora floating around now. The average person does not scan every pixel of the photos they look at and maybe it's worth being nicer to people who my mistakes.
I don't even know where to begin... I had unexpected foot surgery and can't work or walk for the time being. The pain is manageable, but it's still awful. This was my second Surgery in my life. And out of boredom, I drew our beloved White Rabbit
Rip david lynch, you always managed to make the most beautiful dreamlike films, we will miss you🩵
When you have an idiot who tries to dehumanize autistic people and calling us a disease
Bunch of vent doodles I did in my first semester of university
