like simon pagenauld's career was ended from a crash and it's resulting concussion just 2 years ago. due to the financial structure motorsports, the pressure on kids to lie about concussion symptoms is also so damn high too. even in the professional level of the sport, oliver askew famously felt pressured to lie about his concussion, kept racing while hurt, crashed and concussed himself AGAIN, and effectly ended his career that way. I kept on seeing reblogs from f1 blogs like "football is evil and causes brain injuries" and it's making me think that people don't know that motorsports also??? has a huge brain injury problem? like is it because it's a rich person sport full of white people. like fucking hell.
